All the talking heads ignore that. I nominate your post for post of the year.

Good read . . . and good analogy about the poisoning of our program.

To this day, I will never be able to understand how the winner of the 2011 SEC championship qualified to play Bama (sitting at home because they couldn't win the West). This was the height of college media corruption and a denigration of college football. Saban is akin to a disgusting politician.

I have to say I agree with your post.

His exact words were, "No, Les excels because he has better players than everyone else" which was followed by raucous laughter and agreement by himself and everyone else on set.

It's interesting that he said that. Hasn't ESPN rated alabamas recruiting classes #1 forever basically yet I rarely if ever hear that being the reason they win, it's because that coach invented football according to them.

Interesting view from ESPNs recruiting coordinator.

LSU is not the #1 recruiting class every year, yet they churn out NFL players. So it is the result of one of two things, either Miles and Co. can develop players or Luginbill and Co. sure miss a lot on their recruiting rankings. In this case, probably both.

face it, its games like last year against Alabama at home which the players won and the coach lost that fuel this.
Pair that with the lost NCG to Alabama in which he stubbornly would not play JLEE who took us to the ship that makes it so.

The best thing Les can do is get his hands off and rep LSU. Let the best OC coach offense and the best DC coach defense.

Luginbill definitely reminds me of a greasy used car salesman. However, Les was the reason we lost the Bama and Clemson games last year. All tiger fans can do in the meantime is let everyone continue to overlook LSU and watch them sneak up on everyone, including greasy haired, luginbill.

All we gotta do is win! But I agree! I also can't think of a better coach for LSU!

My feelings exactly. The media is full of a bunch shock jokes nowadays. Everyone just piggybacks off others opinions instead of having their own.

The only thing wrong about the media treatment of LSU and Miles is that people pay attention to it.

Well stated and I wholeheartedly agree.

Miles continues to punk these bastards and they hate him for it but they're too chickenshit to go at him directly so they go passive-aggressive on him like a bunch of pussies.

Duh,If Les has better players than most its because he and his staff go out recruit and develop them. This is what every coach attempts to do. Usually the team with the best players wins. OP is delusional
