Clemson is a good team but Florida is better. But the real risk is this week vs Tech and in two weeks vs Southeastern (before Ole Miss). Those two nights have serious trap potential.

Defense looks to be really good, and will make up for a lot of shortcomings, but a game like this is a different sort of measurement. I could easily see a game full of mistakes if they come out sort of flat. Talent levels are so different that LSU should never lose to Tech, but not looking too sharp is a good possibility.

Defense travels home or away but opening the season in a hostile environment is challenging for an offense.
You don’t think LSU’s offense will play a little more comfortable and relaxed in Tiger Stadium, allowing them to open it up more?
