Don't lump all negative reactions into the same bucket. In a game like this:
Perfectly acceptable:
-"should have made that play"
-"bad AB"
-"can't throw a damn strike"
-...etc. related to actual play
Rantards who need to stop watching:
-"This team is going nowhere"
-"Cancel your Omaha reservations"
-"I just don't think this team has it this year"
-...and other general negativity that the sky is falling

People too soon forget or maybe never truly appreciate the fact that the baseball season is a true marathon. We haven’t quite checked off a mile on this season. Wins will come and go. The season will have highs and lows. Players will get on hot streaks and go through slumps. Unless you’re playing for Shreveport, you’re not gonna win every game.
The length of the season and number of games you play are by design. You gotta have stamina, depth and focus. You gotta get knocked down and get back up. But it’s not whether you win them all. It’s whether you win the last one that makes the difference.
And if you can’t handle that, you should probably just watch replays of your favorite games from the past.

Anyone who has played sports at a high level knows that team players try to build momentum and peak at the right times. Since our players aren't robots, rough spots are going to happen. I still like how batters try to go deep into the count, players hit the cut off man, they know how to lay down a bunt, and knowing when to be aggressive on the bases. And consider how juiced up opponents are when playing a high caliber team like LSU. Sometimes I am amazed the team does as good as it is able. Keep it reasonable and enjoy it for what it is.

You don’t think that’s a possibility?
We’ve gone on the road for regionals in the same amount of years so far under Jay as we’ve won the title. I’m not claiming either or is happening until we’ve seen SEC play but the margins are razor thin in the SEC between winning 15-18 SEC games and getting a national seed vs a regional 2 seed
