I wish there was a basic NCAA baseball knowledge test you had to take and pass to post in a baseball thread.

Agreed.
People still think LSU sees the other team's ace in midweek games.

It’s never ok for LSU to lose to Nichols. Ever. Everyone associated with the program should be disappointed. That said, it’s not fatal.

I get a good laugh when I see people say that. I like to assume that they're joking, but it happens to often to be a joke every time.

See this is an emotional argument. It’s not an argument that shows any kind of baseball knowledge, which is what the OP was about.

Its not just baseball. Its all sports and judging by your post history you are part of the problem in other sports.

It’s not ok and I don’t think anyone that understands baseball is saying it is. People are saying it’s not the end of the world and the results of this season will have zero bearing on what happened in a game in February.

actually it is ok, and not unexpected. No reason to freak out about a loss in a midweek game to an in state school. It happens to every major program.

LSU is ranked lower than Louisville, who got blown out, at home, to Wright State, out of the powerful Horizon conference.

Why not add, people should have played past HS to post as well. That would eliminate 95% of the online geniuses

This line is bullshite though. Just because you weren't a great athlete doesn't mean you can't learn and understand the game. Ever heard of that Will Wade fella?
But using HS playing experience as proof they know the game is just as idiotic

Oh here we go... you might want to dig a little deeper than my last couple of post. My negativity towards WW is not sincere. I just don’t undrstand how he gets a free pass on here. I’m trying to understand what the bias is based on and the best I can figure is that he is young.

First of all, i was being sarcastic. Second I actually said PAST HS. So understating what I said is idiotic. Maybe you should read what I said. Third, don't be so sensitive. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings.

Second I actually said PAST HS
I said using HS experience as proof that you know college baseball is stupid. But college (and MiLB) playing experience gives you more credit when talking about the college game.

You don't know what I said, because I never mentioned HS experience. I referred to college or professional experience. So no, I comprehend just fine. You are trying to be witty and you are Terrible at it.
Look I am sorry you wish you knew baseball. I a man sorry I upset your fragile feelings. I wish you were able to play real baseball. These are just things I can't change for you. Best of luck.

quote:I don't think it is a lack of knowledge, as in football. Baseball is better understood in regard to strategy and situations. Definitely more so than basketball. None of us know shite about basketball.

There is a misnomer that we are just far and away superior to every team not named Vanderbilt or other powerhouses.

You're the same people who have a hundred excuses for why it's okay to lose a home Regional.
