Love the kid. He was an animal for our program and kept his name out of the wrong kind of headlines during his time here. He is an all time great. But he hasn’t exactly used the Kevin Faulk template thus far in his professional career.

I think he can get there but as a big fan of his I am a bit disappointed in how he has conducted himself as a pro.

And this below average running back was the only and very reason that this team did anything of worth last year. Obviously they're nothing without him and that's not his fault. That's the fault of the organization. They need to hit the free agency acquisitions and draft better. First they need to invest in a real QB and then acquire his OL. Their defense would be better with better LB play as well.

Go sign a #1 QB, look for veteran OLman and then bring in some young guys from the draft as well. Then go look for some decent LBers and this team would be pretty dang good with LF.

I see a lot of people blaming fournettes bad play on bad Oline and bad QB play. If the oline is bad wouldn’t that also be an excuse for the bad QB play.

Odd how everyone responding to the article in the comments section are bashing Fournette but not Yeldon. Tom is an idiot. Players not playing have nothing to do with wins or losses. He is looking for scapegoats. A HC throwing players under the bus? No wonder they seem uninterested in the game. Fournette needs a new team with a much better OL.

Coaches are professionals.

And saying a coach may not be very good at his job gets you banned on here but cutting into a player that did great things for LSU is permitted.
