Our pass blocking isn't bad. I would even say good. But not perfect.

Our run blocking is bad. But our Guard run blocking is bad, bad.

Our short passing game is great. I don't know why we get away from this. Quick slants, hitch and curl routes work well for us. We also had a swing pass to Berry that let him get loose in space. All those nickel and dime plays seem to drive us down the field effectively.

Sam is getting better about staying in the pocket but still missing reads. He had Mothershed wide open in the end zone. This is just one example.

Play calling for Weiss / Kiffin has been odd given their track record. Seems very conservative at times and I'm not sure why.

We take bad angles on defense. Collectively. Cooley's on that opening run was awful.

Wildly ignorant comment given the difference in offense between this year and last

I think kiffin thinks so much of the defense so he leans in them more.

That’s because the OL and Sam are highly inconsistent and we have no dogs at WR, basically a bunch of slot guys. Jackson Harris is the only one in my opinion who has shown the potential to be a dog.

People are mad at Kiffin for not going for it on 4th and 1 at the end, but I don’t think he’s confident that the offense can move the chains without running some gimmicky gadget play.

We didn't go for it on 4th and 1 because the coaching staff didn't trust the players to make it. They punted and Blake played for overtime almost gave up a TD pass anyway toward the end of not for a good play by the DB forgot who it was, would have ended in regulation because we stopped playing defense. This shite is on Baker solely and his terrible prevent defense. Kentucky gave us two chances to put game away and we failed.

The offense needs to step up. They need to be scoring tds every possession to make up for the lack of brain cells from the Defense Coordinator play calls.

If we have a coaching staff that’s managing one of the highest paid rosters in the country and they actually don’t think we can gain a yard - we have more problems than anyone can imagine!

Well, lean on them by being super aggressive on offense knowing your defense can bail you out. The conservative offensive decisions go against CLK’s philosophy and its biting him.

But what's so odd about this is like I stated above, our short yardage passing game is great. I find it hard to believe we can't throw a curl to Watkins or a screen to Jackson and pick it up.

Play to your strengths. It doesn't have to be trying to jam it up the middle with Jones.
