Not exactly a catalyst to turn this baby around. Lil Jay better find a way to put it behind or its gonna get depressing

Our hitting coach/head coach was feeling himself and thought he could turn a bunch of bad bats into good bats in one offseason. He was way wrong so far

Couldn’t adjust to the shitty strike zone.
Arkansas adjusted. Also the ump was giving low and outside to everyone. We’re throwing high and inside fastballs!

Striking out 19 times and giving up 11 walks is not gonna win very many games

"Strike" 3 was at ankle level for about 1/3 of those.

Umpire can get butt raped by the Easter bunny.

Yes, pirate king, the best offensive coach in college baseball believes in his coaching ability. Shocking.

A good third of those were about a mile out of any know zone but called a strike by this "ump" because the catcher squared it up. Crazy.

Somebody tell me again how this team is going to host a regional. Outside of White, Travinski and Jones, there's little to no offensive production.

And what’s crazy is that the catcher looked like fricking Michael J Fox framing pitches.

the ump took the bat out of the hitters hands. they didnt know what to swing at. ball was 2inchs off the dirt and it was called a strike..... yea we had the same strike zone but i pitchers do not have command over what they are throwing. pitching is awful they have no control and leave the ball over the plate to get crushed

This is a good example of how stats don't tell the whole story. While the ump was consistently horrible all game, many of those K's, should've been walks. Our guys should've adjusted the way Arky did. Instead they kept looking back like they were surprised even though they'd seen the same call all game. Either way, that ump shouldn't even be calling balls/strikes for little league.

Scratch this season and focus on next year. This is beyond ridiculous.

You fricking idiot. He’s got a decade of data to back this up and you’re talking about 20 something games.

Don’t reply to me, you’re cut off.

Striking out 19 times and walking 11 is not ideal. It suck, in fact. However, we hung in the game with the best pitcher in the league, burned one of their best relievers, and got to see their closer. And didn't burn any of our best bullpen arms. I know moral victories suck, but we have our best 2 starters and our best bullpen arms for the next 2 games. I think we're in great shape to win at least 1 and could easily win the next 2. Not easily, but we may have the pitching advantage for the next 2 games. Our hitting will have to be better, obviously, but we're in a nice position, still.

They lost by 3 to the #1 team in the country on the road. It's hardly time to throw in the towel. They definitely have a lot of work to do but it's still early.
