They played neck at LSU WCB game and STTDB ensued......

The band hasn’t played “Neck” in about 8 years now. When are you bozos going to figure out the students chant it to any song they can?

It gets said all the time, but the band truly hasn’t played the original song since about 2014 or 2015.
It won’t be played again by the LSU band.

Which is why they should just cut the crap and go ahead and play it again. Regardless if they play it or not, the STTDB chants aren’t going to stop, so they might as well play it.

Last time it got played was at the A&M game in 2017 when Odell went over to the band and basically forced them to

Yeah, that’s what I noticed as well. The cameras were on the girls. The band started and they immediately looked at each other surprised, smiled and began the hand slap motion. It sounded like neck to me. Students chanted after.

I heard it more than once. It sounded to me like the band was playing it or at least a snippet of it. No political correctness here.

They definitely played it with the chant.
We were laughing at the women commentators when SECN cut back to the studio. They were in shock. One piped up and said something about rowdy LSU fans celebrating a big victory.

For the longest time I was very against that chant and wished the students would stop it, but now my attitude is "frick it". Let it roll. It is fun seeing a raucous student section at a women's basketball game.
