Its still early with LK as head coach at LSU but going forward we need to start winning these types of games on the road. LSU has the better team and the better coaches. Its a road game in the sec which is always tough but you see top teams in the sec like : TX, UGA, Bama win these games. If LSU is going to be in that group then games like this need to be won.

BK is no longer the coach. This will not be an OM repeat.

Look up recentt record of Home SEC Night Game hosts. Its not a good trend for the road team.

Well Kentucky has a good team, too, And Alabama is favored over Georgia. Go figure.

I don't know know that we're on that level just yet. I'm not sure you can get there in under a calendar year. Though, we should pull away in the second half, this feels like one of those cardiac cats/arse puckering games.

LSU has better players, coaches. My point is bama went in there and rolled them. If LSU wants to be considered top tier SEC then this is the same type of results that need to become the norm against lessor teams. Not saying we roll them like bama but winning the games we are favored in is what im saying.

In this day and age you can. 40M dollar roster too.

Agree though but mainly bc Kentucky is a solid team with a good coach.

I’m guessing you only looked at the final score? I hate when people do that.

Kentucky led at the half. Bama struggled until they finally pulled away in the 4th quarter.

Kentucky has overperformed against LSU over the past 40 years.

This will be the 23rd meeting in 40 years. LSU is 14-8 going back to 1986.

If you just want to go back to 1991 (25 years) - LSU has a losing record @Kentucky.

Yes, Kentucky has only beaten LSU in Tiger Stadium 5 times - ever - with the series starting only in 1949. But this game isn't in Tiger Stadium.

It's not impossible - I mean Clowny Hallman coached a win @Lexington. But, we haven't won either game there since Saban and one of the teams that lost was a championship team (2007).

Having said all of that - I'm optimistic. Joe Sloan is not a great coordinator. They are a good matchup for this LSU team.

Just saying we are favored to win this game for a reason even if it is on the road.Need to become consistent winning these types of games under Lane. BK seemed to never be able to do this. This game will be a good test if we are upper tier.
