Doug is great as the color but play by play takes away from his strengths for sure.

They are not bad at all. I’m biased. I love Buzzy Haydell. Maybe a little too much door slamming.

I’m biased I guess. I think they are doing a really good job.

Baseball season is here and there’s nothing but pissing and moaning about every little thing. STFU.

I was listening today while on a 4 hr drive and I constantly had to keep checking the live stats on my phone to find out simple things like who was at bat, how many outs, etc.

between that HR call and Lynn's call on the Jones hit last night, pretty rought start for both lol

Early season is always pretty rough, IIRC. Not that it matters in any way.

One he's not even the one who called the game today. Two baseball I think is actually his best sport. Great baseball voice and seems to enjoy baseball and shows plenty enthusiasm with it.

His overall voice is fine for the radio, but he doesn’t sound authentic when he gets excited and he’s pretty poor at keeping up with the pace of fast-moving events/plays. Maybe I’m still used to Hawthorne’s calls.

Blair is just very bland and doesn’t seem to do that well with baseball. He’s fine, but I haven’t grown to like him as much as our prior guys.

Apparently we have opposite perspectives.

He’s clearly a pro and nothing worth seriously complaining about

I couldn’t agree more. He just seems like he is on downers to me.

We were on a long road trip during post-season last year and listed to Blair call a few games while we were driving. He did fine and was genuinely excited about several plays.
