He’s been on the first step since Week 1 of 2020. At some point he and his staff do actually have to fix something.

Ouch!

You think? Instead he’s shitting on his OC in public on his radio show, doesn’t like a damn thing he does.

Pointing out flaws in Orgeron’s offense is like berating a retard.

Orgeron has and will always be a rah rah retarded meathead.

See Ole Miss as a reference.

Because the offense was to be for Myles. Last seasons offense was friendlier to Max.

Peetz looks like another horrid hire and makes you wonder if Brady was trying to offload a sack of manure on LSU.

So he’s blaming the OC.

Did he actually talk to him before he hired him?

Go back to what worked. Demote Peetz to Brady’s former job, a 3rd down and red zone caller, and let Ensminger call the rest the plays.

If that's the case, then just use that playbook. I doubt Joe Brady took it with him.

Nothing special about that playbook. Like Kirby Smart said after LSU smoked them, and he was asked why they don’t run LSU’s plays, “We have those same plays, they just don’t look like that when we run them.”

So who’s idea was it to hire a first time OC that has never called plays to run someone else’s offense after only working under that guy for a year. This offense has no identity and looks like some backyard playground bs.
Looks like it’s being run by a first time OC that has no clue

so most of you bitch and cry that O doesn't know the offensive side of the ball and blame him when offense isn't playing well. that is some retarded logic

I blame O for the record...not for how each unit is playing. If we get it all turned around I will not give O the credit for the offense playing better, unlike RB10 lol, I will give credit to the Offensive staff and players.

Good lord. You’re being intentionally obtuse.

Orgeron is in charge of the program. He’s in charge of recruiting. He’s in charge of game planning. And he’s in charge of hiring/managing the staff.

His mission is to win football games. It’s his responsibility to put us into position to do so. The how and why don’t matter so much, except to the extent that he made the decisions to get us there.

If we win a game because the defense played lights out, Orgeron recruited those players and hired Jones. He gets credit. If we win a championship because Joe Burrow turned out to be the GOAT quarterback, Orgeron went out and got him. He gets credit.

If we lose games because the defense is completely lost and Bo Pelini is shite, Orgeron hired him. He gets blame. If we lose games because our OL can’t block and our WR’s drop balls and Max Johnson throws it behind his back.. you get the idea.

Do I expect Orgeron, with his background, to be making schematic adjustments, or teaching quarterback technique? No. But that’s not the point. He put all of these pieces into place. If the pieces fail and he can’t fix it himself, then he has failed. It’s as simple as that.

And if Peetz turns out to be a great OC, we turn things around, and we miraculously win 9-10 games - guess what, that does in fact vindicate Orgeron for his decisions in the offseason.

It’s really not that complicated. Orgeron won a championship. He gave us our best season of all time. Now he needs to prove that he didn’t get lucky, and that he has the skills to put the pieces together again.

It’s the last part of this that has most LSU fans thinking it’s over. They don’t necessarily want it to be over, most want LSU to win, the end just seems inevitable.

That’s called ego and probably testosterone injections wanting to show everyone how bad arse he is. Overcompensating for insecurities about joe Brady and Aranda imi. And the divorce probably didn’t help. But whats mind boggling is he did exactly what he said his formula was gonna be and it worked. He Hired Brady recruited well. He utilized the portal. He was big on pushing for the huge contract to keep DA. In 3 years he goes 34-7 w a ny6 win, sec crown, and national title. Wins coach of the year. And then For whatever reason he just falls off the deep end and gets over the top arrogant wanting to prove that he’s something he’s not. It’s identity crisis at the core. Ya can be a great coach wo being a Saban or a Meyer. The ceo type HC like Dabo and O in his first few years is literally the path programs like Arkansas and Oregon mirrored. Wth happened bec something changed big time

I agree but as a head coach, you adjust with what you have. It's obvious Max is much more jumpy than he was last season and who can blame him?

O continues to say they'll fix 'it' even though there are a bunch of "its." One of those is to adjust the offense to suit Max better. O hasn't done that. I think we can all agree on that. He keeps saying he will but he doesn't. He said it last night in his radio show and he said the exact same thing in last week's show.
