Cold? What a BS excuse. Check out last night's temperature in Ann Arbor. Bigger arena full for the UM-Minnesota game.

I feel bad for Will Wade and the team because they are doing their part. Our fanbase on the other hand...

Not too many people care about basketball unless your team makes the tourney in March. Basketball ranks above gymnastics, but below both baseball and obviously football.

I’ve never personally met an LSU basketball only fan.

LSU has become one of the laziest, most indifferent fanbases in all of college sports. It baffles me. Both DV and the PMAC are a shadow of their former selves.

Not sure if you have watched any college basketball this year and I am not even talking about your normal blue bloods. South Carolina’s crowd energy last night put ours to absolute shame.

The crowd is fine now, just isn’t easy to get off work, on campus, parked, and in your seat by 5:55pm TheBoat has this weird thing where he has to cry about every crowd

All of this. The crowd ended being solid. The dude is drama queen.

Basketball hasn’t been a major attraction since the Shaq era. And yes that includes the 2006 final four team.

Very late arriving crowd...students back on campus had parking all screwed up but the crowd was fine.

I took a pic at the opening tip and again midway through the first half..you can see how much it settled in

I see myself on the other end! Crowd did fill up, but we have the weakest crowd in the SEC.

Might be ahead of Mizzou...might

Really? ESPN had it at 9,400.

As does LSUSports.net

That's about 72%. Not great, but then it was a mid week game that started just one hour after everyone got off work.

At 545 it felt empty. By 620, it felt like a good crowd.

Looks like a fricking UNO game at the lakefront
Looks like a fricking LSU football game at Tiger Stadium at half-time against every team except Alabama.

Corporate Give-A-Ways, Wine & Cheesers, Candy A Millennials on their phones and a few scattered authentic LSU football fans. That just about does it...…….

Yep, it's like people struggle to make it on time for a 6pm tipoff on a work day or something... It's been the case for a long time and I don't understand how people haven't noticed yet, crowd will be fine within 20 minutes of tip off
