There is really only one reason this game is the epicenter of college football

likely for the season (well, only reason besides Ole Miss acting like a 3 year old that can’t shake a temper tantrum) and that is because Lane Kiffin is an elite coach and he’s ours. This would not be happening otherwise. Geaux Tigers!

Correct.
You don’t build this up like it has been for Dan Mullen or some shite.
If people really thought Kiffin wasn’t a problem at LSU the atmosphere around this game would look nothing like this.

the reason i've stated that there is pressure on this game is that if LSU wins it, as far as everyone outside of Oxford is concerned that storyline is done. Forever probably.

The story will never be done Coach Kiffin is old pisses saban he was on the fast tract to statues and stadium names and whatnot like saban it will be hugly talked about every time we play them while he is here no matter how many times we beat them for the record in my opinion we beat the stew out of them on saturday night and kiffin will have a goat of a press confrence afterwards!

The national story surrounding LSU/Bama matchups wasnt "Saban used to coach here" after the first few. It was a footnote.

Oh i see yes i believe i can agree with that premise but i believe this saturday will be the most antisipated college football game of the season and the whole country will be watching to see how nasty it gets before during and possibly after the game i just hope kiffin has his MEN prepared to do the fighting during the game and not before or after becauase we all know SKANKY is looking for any reason to punish Kiffin and LSU and will probably be encouraging old mrs to instigate so we get hit with retalition and get punished even if Kiffin makes off color jokes SKANKY is a todler right now and looking to hit us with whatever he can!

A good friend of mine in the coaching profession, once told me a story, he was involved in.
He walks into his office, gets a knock on his door, it’s the head coach. The Head Coach said, I need to see you in my office.
Once inside his office, the head coach says, I just accepted a job at an SEC school. You want to go with me?
My friend said yep, the head coach then says, get some boxes, close your door, pack up, it’s fixing to get ugly!
My friend, this would be his 4th stop. A rough count, he would move 11 more times.
Most times, leaving one school to go to another, is a bad breakup.
Coaches getting fired, bad breakup.
Coach leaving for another job where he and his staff are getting more money and better benefits, more backing by the administrators, etc. Bad breakup.
