I've cited it multiple times. I think most Clemson fans love seeing that box score because it shows that LSU's defense isn't very good.
We all know the box score is all you ever look at.

Clemson's DL was top 3 on the team in TFL and sacks last year. Yet <50% of the TFL and sacks vs Bama. That was my point. Clemson didn't dominate because the DL was dominant.
Except thats not true
DL contributed 1/2 sacks and 5/7 TFL.
You had one DB blitz sack which 1/2 sacks and 1/2 TFL not from you DL
So basically outside one blitz the rest of your team contributed 1 TFL.
And when you look at just the 2 DL who went in the first round and played in the game they contributed 25% of your 2 sacks and 35% of your TFL.
How can anyone trust your numbers when you think 5/7 is less than 50%

LSU's defense with Delpit having a healthy ankle is a different defense than him with a bum ankle. He looks like last year's Delpit after he came back following siting out the Arkansas game. It is a very underrated storyline to this game.

Just to confirm: you expect the #1 scoring defense in the nation to hold LSU to 1 point below their season average and give up the most points since 2013 vs FSU.
LSU will clear by 18.
Don't believe me? Take the bet.

Wait a minute. You think LSU fans are confidant because LSU beat Oklahoma?
The LSU team knew before the game that OU would be about the 5th best team we would face all year.
Perhaps LSU fans are confidant because LSU is 6-0 vs Top 10 ranked teams this season. 2 of them on the road, and another 45 minutes away from the other team's campus with a 70-30 crowd split for the opponent.
LSU has played in the marquee game of the week 5 times this season, and has handled that pressure every single time. The national spotlight has been on this team since week 2 and LSU has not let it effect them yet. Don't think that because "LSU hasn't been here before" that LSU will crumble under the bright lights. 2003, 2007, and 2011 wasn't that long ago, so this program has been here recently. And the 2019 edition of the LSU Tigers has been in the big lights all season long.
Gonna be honest, I stopped reading after you called Texas a "top 10 team". Can't call an 8-5 unranked team a "top 10 team". It's not your fault that they were overrated and you still only beat them by 7. But let's call a spade a spade. Before the CFP, LSU will have played 2 teams that will definitely finish top 10 (UF and Georgia). Bama might sneak into 10th, but likely they'll pass Auburn and Utah and finish 11th just behind either Wisconsin or Baylor...we'll see. Congrats? So you'll have played 2 more actual Top 10 teams than Clemson in 15 games. Impressive

Didn't they put up like 500 yards against yall and didn't blow yall out because of settling for FG's in the first half instead of TD's plus a couple uncharacteristic int's from Fields?
That and Dobbins dropping two sure touchdowns.

Okay, we beat 5 of the top 15. I'm not sure how this post of yours really improves your argument.

OU scored garbage time points to make it an 11-point loss late in the 4th quarter.
So it’s ok to use the garbage points argument when it fits your narrative, but it’s wrong when we use it in reference to games with Bama, Georgia, OU etc....and how those games were even bigger blowouts than the score reflects?

Ya'll realize that a healthy Clemson defense is a bit different than a bad OU defense that is missing 2/3 of their starting secondary, right?
It's been a long time since I've seen a fanbase so confident in their offense after having their way with Oklahoma. Almost a full 12 months...

Your sarcasm here just makes us know you're even more retarded. LSU played the harder schedule by FAR. Not sure why anyone other than a complete moron would try to downplay that.
LSU will have played damn near half of the final top 10 and you're acting like it's no big deal.

It's leaps and bounds more impressive. Funny thing is, you know it.
Lucky to beat OSU, period. It's not like Clemson beat them down and had to have a pic in the endzone at the end to hold on.
Retardville is looking for you, time to go back

Pressure the QB with 4 rushers.

Bama used to.
and they got a taste of their own medicine last year when clemson had 3 first rounders on their DL... its the difference between last years clemson and this years.. i even predicted clemson would beat Bama last year soley because of those 4 guys

Auburn was the closest to it this year.
because they had two phenomenal dudes. Brown will be a stud in the NFL

What was unc ranked when you only beat them by 1?

LSU will need to score 50 to win this one.
Well, LSU did mostly suffocate the second best offense in CFB. So why all of a sudden can they not slow Clemson down?

quote:twisting the numbers to get your results is fun. You're forgetting that we also beat Oklahoma and you're dumb if you think a 11-3 Baylor finishes ahead of a 11-2 Alabama. So, that's 4 top 10 wins to your 1. Auburn will finish in the top 20 and Texas will likely jump back in to the top 25. In case you've lost count, that's 6 top 25 wins to your 1. Clemson has reasons to believe they'll win this game, but don't even try bringing up resume as one of those reasons.

If LSU doesn't break 500 yards or 40 points vs Clemson, LSU will lose by double digits.
Again, you imply LSU can’t slow down Clemson’s O. They already slowed down a better offense. So why is Clemson any better?

You had a lot more experience on the dline last year. I'm not talking about talent. But that extra year or two of development in the weight room makes a huge difference for dlinemen. So, you probably won't have a lot of success in getting to the qb if you try rushing 4 or 3.
And, Burreaux is much better than Tua at post snap reads, so you blitz at your own peril.
And, we have so many nfl caliber players in the backfield and on the perimeter that we can't get them all on the field at one time in any combination. That plus Joe's accuracy and pocket awareness coupled with the best oline in the country means you're not likely to get coverage sacks either.
And Joe is the most accurate passer in ncaa history, so when a receiver gets open, he's going to hit them on the money.
As for the difference in ppg between last year's bama and this year's Lsu, there have been way too many games that were over by halftime for that stat to mean anythimg other than both teams scored a ton of points.

So we can just look at Clemson’s box score against UNC and automatically determine their offense isn’t very good, right?
Sounds pretty stupid.
