No thanks. Kiffin has wrecked every team he's ever been HC of.

It would be worse than selling you're soul to the devil. The man has the morals of a jackal.

My comprehension is fine, how about yours? Are you aware that Lane Kiffin is NOT a "top-tier current HC," which is what you claim we should be looking for?

What the frick?

he was saying the idea was to get a top tier HC, but if that wasn't available, roll the dice with Kiffin

I'd take a bag of Doritos over Lane Kiffin.

I'm convinced that people don't give a shite about LSU winning....they just want LSU to look pretty in the media and in their own sense of righteousness.

That got us a long way last year didn't it.

His head coaching stops have been less than impressive.

How did his successor do at each of those places?

Maybe it wasn't the coach

And, I'd make Herman call the cops to escort me off his lawn because I won't take no for an answer.

Thanks BHP, I needed that this morning

Wasn't it reported last year that Herman (or his wife, sadly) wasn't interested in coming to LSU?

Sad, she would look amazing in P&G

Then OP shouldn't contradict himself by posting a thread defending the idea of Lane Kiffin as LSU's next head coach, but also stating the goal should be hiring a "top-tier current HC."

You're going from option A to option Z pretty damn quick.

OP's contradictions aside, Lane Kiffin would be a terrible hire. End of story.

I want Les gone, believe me, but 1) Kiffin is an immature dick bag, and 2) he absolutely, in no way, has shown that he would have any more success as a head coach than what we currently have.

And 3) he's an immature dick bag.

pretty much everyone else on the rant in this thread was able to breakdown my intentions from the OP.

There is no way I would ever hire kiffin in a million years. Talk about a disaster waiting to happen. As a HC, dude has failed upwards several times.

Lane Kiffen is NOT head coaching material. He functions best as an OC under a strong head coach.

We can say NO to Kiffin though. Literally every one of his HC stops he left in a dumpster fire

Well according to the rant he'd be following the worst coach in college football....so that doesn't bode well for us.

And "pretty much" everyone agrees Kiffin would be a terrible hire. If you're in Franklin, TN, it shouldn't take you too long to find a dozen or so UT fans... go ahead and ask them about their experience with HC Kiffin. I'll wait.

Miles should have ended his legacy at LSU gracefully and moved on. He didn't, and now we all suffer. But it's no reason to jump out of the plane without a parachute.
