I'm not comparing anything. I'm putting the facts out there and watching you dance.
Etling wasn't a first year starter when he came to LSU, that's indisputable.
However, even using their Junior seasons, Burrow was more productive than Etling, and you can extrapolate Etlings numbers out to 13 starts if you like.
And it's not close.

Out of curiosity, I've noticed that this devolved into a fight on page one after LSUAlum2001 suggested Burrow was the best returning starter since Russell...but nowhere did I happen to see what he thought about the OP's suggestion that he was going to be a first round draft pick.
So...for those guys arguing in favor of Burrow in this thread, do you mind addressing the first point of the thread?

I'm aware...which is why I was asking if you had any thought on the original point of the thread?
I ask, because Roger made a big deal in another thread about threads all eventually getting off track and suggested blame lied elsewhere...so I figured I'd help him out and attempt to get you guys to address the original point.
Madking did with his first post in the thread, btw. Regardless of what happened afterwards, at least he addressed the OP's point.
