There are a lot of folks trying to cash out on their tickets for the Bama game.

Looks to be in the thousands available just on Stubhub.

151 in section 103 alone.

It does not bother me. I found it interesting. I am all about freedom to do what you wish. It was simply an observation.

Personally, I have never bought tickets as an investment so I see it differently. Also, I do not think there would be a price to keep me away from a game that could potentially make the Georgia game look meaningless if LSU wins.

Hey sec 103 season ticket holders.... Just give up your tickets next year. because if you can't be bothered to go to LSU Alabama #1 versus #4, then you have no business having the tickets

That's real
That's my opinion
I don't fricking care about downvotes

The entire row behind me (7 seats) was up for grabs during the upgrade process.

Those 7 tickets have been on stubhub all season.

Do you think they were every sold or is LSU remarketing them on the secondary market?

People look at the big games as a way to subsidize their season tickets. Just because they sell their tickets to say Bama doesn't mean they won't be attending the game. If you can sell your Bama tickets for an exorbitant price why not take that money and =buy another set of tickets for a cheaper price and pocket the extra cash. If some fool is willing to severely overpay for tickets i'd take their cash.

My girlfriends friends family has 4 season tickets. They go to Tulane and they gave them to him so he could take some of the uninitiated to a big game. They are selling them so that he can go to France with his Tulane friends who obviously don’t give a single frick about LSU football. So lame.

I just added up all of the available tickets on StubHub for every section shown on the map of TS. By my count there are a total of 2622 tickets available across all sections of TS.

Even if all of them go to Bama fans (which they won't) they would have around 8k to 10k fans in the stadium depending on if their initial allotment from LSU is 6k plus other tickets sold on other 2nd hand markets.

Wait, you make a donation to TAF, get great seats and then for the biggest game in the past three years you sell them to go sit in the nosebleeds? That's dumb. You could sell SELU, LaTech and Rice and keep Bama in your good seats.

I mean seriously, who thinks this way? "Gee, if I sell my most valuable tickets I can afford to sit in good seats for games against crappy opponents."

What a fricking loser.

LSU is largely to blame. Instead of letting ticket holders sell their ticket rights to another fans ( like saints do) if you don’t renew they go back to LSU. Lots of folks just keep them and don’t go or sell individual games to whoever.

I didn't. Not sure what their typical market share of a stadiums available seats is compared to StubHub...but even if you throw in another 1000 seats it's still not the 20k or more that Georgia had at the game. PLUS I gotta think that at least 20 or 30% of those tickets will be bought by LSU fans that don't normally have season tickets because they live out of town.
