I always felt if Arkansas really wanted to win they could pour money into the program and compete if they get the right coach. Petrino had them as a power until his motorcycle scandal.

Petrino and O had the same issue; chasing young arse

You people who think LSU doesn’t have money amaze me.

Look out for Nebraska and Miami as well

You are extremely uninformed. LSU doesn't have trouble competing with anyone in NIL. You are using urban myths to support your agenda. LSU spends more in NIL that Bama, yet you put them in your list of 5? In the last 20 years, only 1 school has more NCAA Football National Championships than LSU and that is Bama, not Georgia, not Clemson, not Ohio State and not Michigan. LSU's fundraising in sports, especially football, is off the charts. Quit spewing misinformation and get the facts. In fact, just change teams now. We will all feel better if you did.

Get fricked with that Alabama shite. They are not like the others.

He’s back…they just have to recruit a much larger area than the others.

Wtf you think bama in any way other then left over saban players better at the moment?? They are in every single category in alabama state as Louisiana population, size and poor as a state. They without saban are equal in nil as lsu stop that nonsense! but lsu is showing that they are very solid together nil right now

Lsu has the best pound 4 pound recruiting base in the nation and lsu is still doing well at getting most of them!!!

Wrong.
I live next door and despise all things Bama, especially their football team and fan base, but unfortunately at the state-level they are much better off than LA in the long run.
To keep it simple: AL's population is growing; LA's is shrinking. AL has major industrial hubs in Mobile, Huntsville, and elsewhere; LA hasn't done nearly as well bringing in large businesses. Those large businesses make it easier for their alumni to say home and not move to TX or wherever to get jobs.
I see that as a major advantage for their athletics programs over the long run. Hopefully their best days are behind them in football.

SMU, aTm and Oregon all have practically limitless money.

At the end of the day right now its apples to apples both state population is within 500k of each other texas for example have endless amounts of everything better than both bama and la as a state but both lsu and alabama are recruiting with them right now

Name the others? LSU is not in that group. You can bitch all you want, but we aren’t.
How are you quantifying this? What figures did you use to decide who the big time players are for college football? Who has the biggest bank roll? How much is it?
If you can’t answer these questions without sources to back up your chicken little opinion, then shut the frick up about this. You’re out of your league

Agree lsu under bk has recruited 5th 7th and a chance in 25 for a top 3 class the same as they always have recruited for decades but some are saying lsu can no longer be in the elite of college ftb anymore bs

I still think LSU can be top 5...but you have to get the in-state guys that you have to get.
What positions does LSU need help in right now?
RB? Etienne is at UGA.
DB? Jacoby Mathews is wherever he is.
Just seems like historically, there are always 1 or 2 difference makers from LA who went elsewhere that left LSU just a little short. NIL needs to make sure those guys don't get away.

Louisiana has much more money than Alabama as a state and LSU has plenty of wealthy donors, some of you folks are just looking for reasons to make us look poor, lol.
