Sounds to me like u just didn't know where to go, if u don't like it here move. There is a reason why the recruits up here tend to go elsewhere , part of it is hearing from a lot of lsu fans disrespecting northern part of la

Have to agree that Shrevespit is very pro Tigers. And, most Tech fans that I know are also pulling for the Tigers. When the Bull Pups play the Tigers most will pull for their Dogs but they are crazy arse fans for the most part.

There are tons of Cowboy fans in Shreveport. I have been there on a Sunday to watch the Saints. Several sports bars will have more Cowboy fans than Saint fans. But, the Tigers are generally very strongly supported in Shreveport.

You picked the wrong sports bar on the wrong day at the wrong time.

I actually had a blast and wasn't bothered by the Tech fans at all. Just thought it was a little pathetic

And comments like, "if you don't like it, move away" are the epitome of the kind of behavior I'm talking about.

What do you expect when you post that you just moved there and criticize the place as you did? You didn't exactly research to find a better place to watch the game.

Shreveport is a pretty good place for a town it's size and when you make the best of where you live, you can have a good experience. I'm not sure you're capable of that, though.

Shreveport is a different animal. There are several LSU fans but the main deal is Saints vs Cowboys. In the black community it's Grambling or Southern. Lsu is 3.5 hours away while Tech,ULM,and Northwestern State are 1-1.5 hours away. Just give it a Chance. Next week go to Somewhere off Bert Koons

We will try Twisted Root or Franks next time. I have a 1 year old kid now and havent been able to keep up with the new spots, so I blindly took WR to Rotolos.

SB is probably 80+% LSU fans. Don't give up after one crappy experience.

Whiskey - your initial post attacks Shreveport. Later posts back down considerably.

Shreveport IS crazy for LSU. You'll find a number of contrarians there that feel LSU has been crammed down their throats.

The Cowboy bias is not simply Shreveport's proximity to Dallas, TX. For a very long time, network TV in Shreveport was all Cowboys. We were recruited to the Cowboy fan base. I have not lived in Shreveport for a very long time but I imagine there are very few cities split in their NFL allegiances as Shreveport.
