Once McMahon gets fired, then I will get excited. I really don’t want to get my hopes up then nothing happens

As I said in a thread a while back, I have a pretty good sauce that told me he believes he is coming.

Brandon Landry has also called his shot.
You read it here first.

At this point I would be surprised if Wade doesn't come. There is just too much smoke/actions (non message board gossip) that points in that direction
I know for a fact Landry was a part of the push last year to get Wade back to LSU. I also know Tate and Woodward were the ones who said absolutely not. They are gone. Landry is still here. As are the folks who made the push last year. More than that, people in Wade's circle (namely Rouse and Mallet) have been put in decision making positions. Couple that with the fact there has been no statement on McMahon's future whatsoever, and it's easy to arrive at the conclusion that, at minimum, there is some uncertainty about McMahon returning. And for those who say "why would the AD say something about McMahon"?, just look at places like Pitt, Oklahoma, Oregon, Wake Forest, etc. All have HCs who struggled this season. For all there have been reports, if not statements, indicating their HCs are returning/expected to return.
For McMahon? Radio silence.
However, it was an article on Friday that changed the calculus for me. Most ignored it because of the timing (late Friday afternoon) and author (Glen Guilbeau). But, if true, the information in the article was big. The article stated Heath Schroyer, McNeese AD, is a candidate for the Associate AD's position (Verge's old job). Schroyer is not just McNeese's AD. He's a former college basketball HC. He was a friend of Wade's well before the McNeese days. He was initially supposed to be an assistant on Wade's first LSU staff util he got a HC job. He was THE reason Wade went to McNeese. If it is true that he's leaving to come to LSU, I doubt he is doing so oversee the empty PMAC under McMahon. His arrival would mean both the president and AD at McNeese would now be at LSU. The last piece to that puzzle would be obvious.
