Nothing in that conversation suggested there was even an "injury." They don't know any more than us, they're filling time on a podcast (and, not for nothing, the notion that LSU reached out to a "message board" to have a post taken down is preposterous, and makes me question his knowledge and judgment).

Until further notice, I think everyone can assume the situation is benign enough that Nuss won't miss a minute of play time. Everything else is people filling in the gaps with their own story.

Shea Dixon nailed the DJ Pickett and the Deuce Geralds recruitments when everyone, including Fong were hearing different and he wrote a piece yesterday saying Nuss is not injured and won't miss time in fall camp, much less the opener according to his sources. I'll take Shea's word over some Rant losers trying to pretend they have sources.

“He’s ok” could still mean he was injured. Not that difficult to understand

It's camp. Everyone is nicked and bruised at this point. He's not missing the Clemson game and that's what matters.

Okay, and? He's not injured. Maybe bruised up a bit but it's football.

Because the people who get paid to report and know, and have gotten stories right in the past, say he's not injured.

You're right, I don't. I'm taking the people that would know's word for it over some anonymous Rant poster who claims to have sauces. Also, is it really that far a stretch to assume a football player a week into fall camp is bumped and bruised?

Shea wasn’t at practice. He likely talked to a coach or someone on staff and they told him Niss is fine. I’m not in any way saying that Nuss is injured but if the coaching staff wants it hidden, they aren’t going to tell Shea.

What would be the point in doing so? Let's say he is injured. Everyone is going to find out on Saturday at the next practice that he isn't out on the field. It wouldn't benefit LSU to lie and cover up the injury for 48 hours so why lie at all?

But, never mind, yall are probably right. The staff or whoever Shea's sources are probably lied to him and Nuss really is hurt but they wanted to keep it super secret for an additional two days just because.

Fair enough.

I'm not in the know enough to know.
So I have to rely on media guys to get information.

If they are wrong it will be proven. If they are right it will also be proven.

Nuss is a warrior so I hope he is ok.

That’s great; I think we all put stock in that.

Saying he is “ok” to a report that mentioned a serious injury still lacks context. But it seems you want to build your own version of that, and that is totally your right.

No they said he is ok which can be interpreted many different ways.
My opinion is he is injured but they won't know the severity of it until some of the swelling goes down and scans are done.

And y'all are free to make something out of nothing which it seems y'all are bound and determined to do. The people who work the LSU beat have said they've been told by their sources that he won't miss time. I don't particularly care about the context. Point is that he won't miss time.

Interpret it how you want. Reports are that he won't miss any time in camp much less the opener, he walked off under his own power because Kelly told him to go ahead and sit out the rest of practice just as a precaution and the LSU med staff has no concern moving forward. Idk how much more clear y'all want that to be.

"He's ok" does not mean the same thing as "4-6 week" recovery time...
