Because that’s where they take it. Go look where it started. It’s the same cycle as always. You can be critical about anything before they lose their simple minds.

It’s fair to question why we had such a drop off. LSU shouldn’t be a program where you go 5-5
Not if we are who we say we are. Elite programs don’t do that.

Listen you snot nosed dweeb, I don’t don’t mind discussing sports with rational people but you are a moron. So just shove your head up a Cow’s arse and then go frick yourself. You idiot.

Leave Ree alone. He’s a great Tiger fan.

quote:I realize all of that
And you are oblivious to reality as LSU lost 36 players off the 2019 NC Roster, had no Spring and limited Fall Practice with a very young roster, and then lost its QB after just 3 games.
quote:He did an amazing job and nobody can take that away from him. But pointing to 2019 doesn't change his 2020 record and shite coaching hires that year.
None of this reality matters to you because Ed Orgeron built the 2019 15-0 National Championship Team and had finished #6 in 2018 with a Fiesta Bowl win.
quote:LSU has had plenty of rebuilding years that don't include the arse whippings they got last year. LSU had a young team, and better coaching would have helped make up for that. Coach O gets credit for his fantastic 2019 staff, and he gets the blame for his dogshit 2020 staff.
LSU had gone 25-3 in two seasons but all you dumbasses seem to do is blame Orgeron for what was always going to be a rebuild year even without Covid limitations.
quote:I don't hate Coach O. I just love LSU and want what is best for the program. That's the difference. Unlike some people on the Rant I don't have blind loyalty to a single man, giving excuses for him and putting him above criticism.
You are illogical and simply dislike Orgeron and will be a detractor no matter what.
This year will be a huge year for him. On paper LSU has the talent for double digit wins. The question will be can he lead LSU to that.

Yeah this is some real rational commentary…
Believe it or not Rob, you can support Coach O and recognize that roster attrition and Covid caused major issues, while still acknowledging he deserves some criticism for the shortcomings of last season.

If he hadn’t hired Pelini and then lost to Missouri and State with the worst defense we’ve ever seen at LSU, you’d have a point.

Yep all perfectly normal. Uh, no it wasn’t because 2020 was a thrown together mish-mash season to generate some funds for athletic departments around the country. Yes it was a severely abnormal season

It's almost like some of us weren't happy with the 2018 recruiting class.

Please let me know who we should blame when lsu loses to vastly less talented teams. You sycophants never want to lay blame at his feet yet when something goes great its all because of O. Either he gets all the blame and all the accolades or he gets neither.

very successful Coach
He has had 1 amazing season. He is 61-41 as a HC. No one can take 2019 away from him but stop acting like he has ever had sustained success as a HC.

Nope. It is far easier to see through you and others like you who continue to bash an obvious rebuilding year as simply Orgeron detractors or you really do not understand what LSU’s situation was last year.
Losing 5 games isn't rebuilding. We lost to team that dont have near the talent we do... let me guess... since O is the coach losing to less talented teams isnt a sign of bad coaching.
It's the same with all you sycophants. O could lose 9 games and you'd still be claiming it's not his fault.

Ed Orgeron is 45-14 at LSU. He has won an SEC Title and a CFP National Title in 2019.
In 2018, Orgeron won the Fiesta Bowl and finished at #6 in the nation.
Orgeron did not just have 1 amazing year. He has played in the toughest division in College Football and won Championships.
Orgeron has had Top 5 recruiting classes and currently has the 2022 class at #4 which is currecntly the top class in the SEC.
As stated earlier, Ed Orgeron is 45-14 at LSU and for some reason what his record was at Ole Miss seems important to you detractors. I couldn't care less what Orgeron's record was at Ole Miss. Ole Miss is a bottom feeder and has absolutely nothing to do with LSU or Orgeron at LSU.
Yes, Ed Orgeron is a very successful Head Coach and to say otherwise is simply you with an personal agenda.

The sec was hot garbage in 2020... only 4 teams finished with less than 5 losses.

Yeah that one year.

Ever since saban came to lsu.... recruiting has never been an issue

When you say O is a very successful head coach... his entire resume get put under the spot light. For some reason you sycophants think his entire HC career doesn't count.

ED ORGERON'S LOSSES AS A HC( FACTS)
8 losses
8 losses
9 losses
4 losses
3 losses
O losses
5 losses
That's not very successful in my book. He has lost less than 3 games once in his entire head coaching career. I'm sorry facts shite on your opinion.
Ed orgeron has never had sustained success as a head coach. Let's all hope he does it at lsu.

Damn dude, you're back at your idiotic crap again. Doesn't seem that long ago that you were on here trying to cry up to everyone apologizing for being such a huge idiot hater and begging for forgiveness.
Oh, and your butt-buddy Hotlips got fired. Remember how you used to worship the ground the Kissing-Bandit walked upon. And cursed any and everything the 2019 National Champion coach, who was also selected as the NATIONAL COACH OF THE YEAR, touched or even came near?
I do. I still laugh at you. Good luck trying to get the other idiot haters to believe you once again. May be a little more difficult this time since a large percentage of your minions don't show their faces around here anymore.
Where is your Butt-buddy's trophies and awards?

I was pointing out all your pussified excuses. A blaming mentality.
It’s sports, when a team does bad some of the blame needs to go on him. He actually says it himself. So again, shut the frick up you whiny shite stain.
You are a weird, socially awkward fella

Less than 3 losses once in his entire career. It must suck being up the arse of a HC than has more .500 or worse seasons than winning seasons.
