Yes o deserved all the credit and praise heaped on him for 2019.
I still wouldn't call him a very successful head coach Ree. His head coaching resume consists of more .500 or worse seasons than winning seasons.
He has never lost less than 3 games once in his entire life.
In no way am I saying fire O or O is a shite coach or that he should be on any type of hot seat. IMO I don't label him a very successful HC and that simple opinion makes your pussy burn. I will always be thankful to O for 2019 but I don't label coaches with 1 title season as very successful. If you do then cool. But we all know O could never win another title at lsu and you'd be fine with him staying the HCbecause you're not a lsu fan and you've proven it time and time again.

O is the only p5 coach where half of his entire HC career supposedly doesn't count when labeling his career as very successful or not. Sycophants are too stupid to realize terms like best or very successful is subjective.

I'd consider his 2018 and 2019 seasons to be reason to give him the benefit of a doubt. And we can probably take 2020 as a mulligan because of those seasons. 2021 will tell us a lot about his staying power and if he is the long term answer.

O has had a good tenure to this point because of 2019. 2020 just confirmed that O will always live and die with his coordinators which is fine if we make good hires. I never said nor want O on some type of hot seat. 2019 got him at least 3-4 more seasons unless we have an absolute collapse. We look like we can make another title run in 2022.... it just set off the sycophants that I said I don't think O can be labeled as a very successful HC yet given his win loss record as a HC.
