It was a fake season.

1-Cancelled Spring Practice.
2-Big and Pac12 say they are not playing.
3-SEC decides to play a 10 game season.
4-SEC & NCAA allows a limited Fall Practice.
5-LSU loses 35 players from the 2019 NC team.
6-BIG & PAC12 decide to play 5 or 6 game schedule
7-Numerous games are cancelled or rescheduled due to Covid and Contact Tracing.
8-Players opting out during the season all over the Country including at LSU.
9-No fans.
10-No tailgating
11-No game atmosphere at all.
12-A Sham of a CFP is allowed with teams getting in with 5 regular season games.
13-Oregon doesn’t win Division but plays in PAC12 Championship Game because Washington has Covid so Oregon wins PAC 12 with a 3-2 record.
14-Recruiting is conducted on line as no visits are allowed due to Covid.
15-QB fiasco at LSU after Brennan is injured in Game 3.
16-LSU travels to Florida with 53 player Roster.
17- LSU opts out of Bowl Game.

Yep all perfectly normal. Uh, no it wasn’t because 2020 was a thrown together mish-mash season to generate some funds for athletic departments around the country. Yes it was a severely abnormal season.

And you are oblivious to reality as LSU lost 36 players off the 2019 NC Roster, had no Spring and limited Fall Practice with a very young roster, and then lost its QB after just 3 games.

None of this reality matters to you because Ed Orgeron built the 2019 15-0 National Championship Team and had finished #6 in 2018 with a Fiesta Bowl win.

LSU had gone 25-3 in two seasons but all you dumbasses seem to do is blame Orgeron for what was always going to be a rebuild year even without Covid limitations. You are illogical and simply dislike Orgeron and will be a detractor no matter what.

Then by your theory Orgeron can’t do any wrong. No one is allowed to be critical.
So they lost because there was no tailgating? How did Bama do?
They lost because the PAC 12? How did the SEC do?
They lost because of recruiting visits? I’m not even sure how to approach that ridiculous claim.
They lost because there were no fans? How did the other 5 teams that beat us do it?
We lost because we opted out a bowl game? Wut?

I mean your excuses are insane. Do you hear yourself? Shut the frick up.

Everyone gave Orgeron credit for 2019, stop living in 2019.
We had a terrible season, the defense was terrible, coaching was horrendous. No reason we were suppose to lose 5 games. They need to do better this season. The end.

Stop denying that LSU was in a rebuild because it was reality. Stop acting like 2020 was a normal season because it wasn’t. Get over it and you stop living in a single Covid year and judging a very successful Coach by an abnormal season which was always going to be a drop off. Or are you and your ilk this oblivious?
