The brother being a package deal points to the dad being involved.

BK is a pro. He probably knew more about the state of the program in 72 hrs than Ed did his entire time here.

Nah, Nuss will ply. No one spends their life hoping to be a 5th year senior.

Agreed. Definitely seems like the redshirt ploy happened because Doug saw the writing on the wall with O.

Yeah, the Arkansas game decision seems even dumber now, but hindsight is 20/20. He has played in 4 games, so playing in the bowl will definitely burn his RS, but as someone else already posted, I doubt that matters, he'll play. In fact, if I were Nuss, I would be fired up to play; he now has a golden opportunity to be the guy and get a leg up on the starting QB job for next year.

The thought that Brad Johnson meddled a bit did cross my mind. Wouldn’t doubt CEO let that crap go on and BK isn’t putting up with it so MJ and lil bro left, but that’s purely speculation. No sauces

Applies to wherever he transfers to.

Except Nuss, Howard, and a possible transfer in won’t be waiting at the new team.

To be fair he would be having his 3rd offensive coordinator in 3 years. Maybe he wants a change of scenery.

Instead he spent the last year getting his shite kicked in while our booth switch back and forth calling plays

Some of the problem was LSU’s OL but most of the problem was Max. The guy held the ball so long that he caused many of his own problems and simply was not good under pressure. UCLA saw this and built their entire Defensive Gameplan around blitzing and pressure knowing Max would panic. Which he did.

Since our game is after the new year, wouldn’t that technically count as the next season/year? (I thought there was some rule where it counts as the ‘next season’ when the new year hits, some suspended players in the past played in bowl games, etc…)

I think the timing shows he’s a shitty fricking teammate and not half of the competitor that he and his family tried so hard to portray him as.

It’s easy to compete for a weight belt over thanksgiving break. A little bit harder when the chips are down and your team needs you.

This has to be a fricking joke right?

The guy took a beating every single game and you’re gonna pull this shite because he leaves before the…Texas bowl?

I could never image a parent saying start my kid or else, but we are now in a new era. We have paid college athletes, a portal that allows your word to mean nothing mean while the university will give you a free degree if you pretend to attend classes.
