He is likely gonna be implicated as receiving kickbacks too.

Yeah, my principle was "never hire the worst coach in your arch rival's history"

Could they have done it at Louisville if he does not first hire them? If not, that is where the ultimate responsibility lies.

That's why he got fired. If it's just that, that will not end his career.

Accomplishment 1: doesn't have the FBI and US Attorneys sniffing around his athletic department. That alone places him above the overrated Jurich.

You're right. LSU would NEVER hire an AD coming of a controversial scandal. We are above that.

F. King has to go too.

The rot starts at the head.

Both need to be gone before the next HC hire needs to be made.

My understanding is that Jurich refused to fire Pitino yesterday, and so he was given his pink slip also by the interim president. WAVE in Louisville reported this. He wasn't fired for this scandal according to them. But time will tell.

Scott Woodward needs to be our next AD. Worked for Emmert and helped bring Saban, rebuilt Washington and hired Peterson, got hired by A&M and is probably going to the guy that undoes that shitshow too. Plus he’s an LSU grad. No brainer

Oh, I completely agree. There is plenty of time for the dust to settle. Alleva isn't going anywhere unless Yaw fails, which we'll have a good idea of by this time next season.

The man hired scumbags and you still want him?

The whole world knows Petrino is scum and he still hired him.

That's what you want?

Maybe LSU could hire him alongside Alleva and move to a two-AD rotational system...

Who is Kentucky's AD? Their baseball and football teams have improved greatly, both on the field and in the coffers. Their facilities just keep getting better.
Mitch Barnhart.

I've been bringing up his name (Along with Radakovich) as possible replacements for Snow Peas.........

You agree with it being the worst hire, yet O is 9-3 as the head coach at Lsu. fricking unbelievable how ignorant and blinded some of you are.

Yeah, we're so blindsided over how impressive O's wins over a bunch of scrubs and the state gang bang has been.

The shrimp boat captain was hired for continuity, when in reality he lied about the status of the program or was too stupid to realize our depth situation. Either scenario is pretty scathing against him

Only Way to justify firing O that soon after firing a legend 4 games in. Would look bad as far as perception of the programs stability imo. I think it would give good coaches pause before moving their family & staff. But if alleva is fired the fact is with the way the search was handled I don't think it would Be viewed as the wrong decision. Again I support O. Of course he takes the job and wanted a shot. He got it wrong or not so he deserves a chance to right the ship. Unless the wheels come off and I think they fix a lot of the issues and Canada will find the identity of this offense.
