Yikes. We play @ Ole Miss again next year? And five SEC road games, including @ Tennessee and @ Auburn? And host Clemson, Texas & Bama?

That schedule is a killer. We need to gather roses this year and take advantage of not quite so brutal a schedule.

2026 home schedule is stacked

27 is a little light in the home schedule but that means 2029 is going to be stacked

am pretty sure we will host Clemson then go to Kentucky the week after to open SEC play. Both us and UK are the two with openings in Week 2. UK has also been hosting the SEC opener for the conference in recent years

Bama should be Week 10 on the first Saturday in November

at Hogs is rivalry week for sure, could see that going back to Black Friday

would expect Tenner trip in November but just a hunch

at Ole Piss twice in a row sucks but Aggie coming here twice in a row is worse so not too upset about that

We play @ UH in NRG stadium. I guess it help to have 5 conference home games that season.

Yes, I think that was done strategically, we have the 5 road SEC games in 2026 but with Clemson at Home plus the 2 other OOC games and 4 SEC, that still gives LSU 7 Home games in 2026 and same in 2027.

So the SEC worked with LSU on that and it works out for us on a revenue wise and season ticket holders.

Yes, but you get Texas, Georgia, Tenn more often than every 12 years.
Difference is that Texas, UGA, Tennessee don't have voodoo on us like Bama does.

The 2027 schedule we go on the road to UGA and TAMU, but no Bama, and no Texas. We'll have our QB in his 2nd year starting as well. I'm claiming 2027 as the next big year for LSU.

2027 Home Schedule is absolute garbage

That's a NC playoff schedule, split with Florida/UGA on the road and win the home games.

Finally some common sense in scheduling. Every SEC team will visit Baton Rouge in four year period and Tigers will visit every SEC stadium within four years.

It feels very much like we will play the old Western division schedule in even years and then play the old Eastern division schools in the odd years. The even years will feel familiar and the odd years will take some getting used to. We better continue make our hay in the odd years, as has been the case the last 20 years.
