Deaths are at their lowest since this all began in March. CDC is counting those who had it and no longer have it and have the antibodies so numbers are inflated. Hydroxychloroquine works to cure Coronavirus if you do happen to get it. 99.8% of those who get it recover. Most of those work no symptoms or mild symptoms. Those are all facts.

Not true ToxicTiger. Daily deaths are down to 250. Same as when it all started in March.

This take is just not true. First off New York has more deaths than Florida yesterday. Second off, overall deaths continue to drop ppl continue to focus on overall cases and not death rates and deaths which have both dropped

Wrong Cd104444:

NEW YORK GOVERNOR ANDREW CUOMO
Friday’s data (July 3) is summarized briefly below:

Patient Hospitalization – 857 (-21)
Patients Newly Admitted – 73 (-23)
Hospital Counties – 30
Number ICU – 188 (-21)
Number ICU with Intubation – 125 (-4)
Total Discharges – 70,794 (+96)
Deaths – 9
Total Deaths – 24,885

Deaths are going way down everywhere! Only 9 deaths in New York on Friday.

Open up the country!

Yeah. I fully expect the SEC to do whatever the Ivy League does.

It was said many months ago by someone that unless there is a vaccine, cure or very good therapy for Covid-19 before August, we will not have football in the Fall.

I don’t see any of those things happening at this point but I still hope.

If anyone thinks that we can mask and social distance our way through a football season, they’re nuts. At best, they’ll have to play Without fans and that’s just not going to happen.

It’s painful to consider this horrible prospect but football this Fall is a very very long shot.

Why not? Every professional sport is doing it.

Wrong Dale Brown.

A vaccine could take years. That is not the test to whether we go back to playing football or not. We have therapies now that work. Hydroxychloroquine works and saves lives. Look it up and don’t just listen to CNN. There is no reason not to have football. 99.8% who get Coronavirus recover. Of all the Athletes that were reported to have tested positive over the last 4 months, Zero died. Zero. But you don’t hear that from the media.

Either you go back to playing the games with crowds this fall or it might as well never happen again. And frankly I really don't give a damn anymore if this country is that soft then we have bigger problems than sports

Your sick.....so...if....anyone has any problem with how we've handled this or does anything but blow rose pedals up Trumps arse then it's an anti Trump agenda. That's fricking retarded. When Trump was elected I thought, give him a chance....i don't give a frick about the wall he wants, his supposed bigotry, which I honestly don't get but there's simply NO WAY anyone can genuinely say this was handled correctly. Youll saying this are the same ones saying in the beginning this was all just a big dem hoax and nothing to worry about at all, one was a great friend of mine, now he literally won't let anyone within 6 feet of him. There are far leftists that are looney, there are moderates of which I am one but ALL of you Trump supporters are blind to the willful ignorance he's shown about this ...and anyone that tells me about the poli board frick you, I'm RESPONDING to a statement

You are partially correct MysticTiger. While there were (only!) 273 US deaths reported today, the current 7-day rolling average is 591.9 deaths/day. Moving averages are the proper metric used to smooth out the noise and/or establish a trend. I am no expert, but I do have a Master of Science in Public Health, even if it is only from Tulane.

Like I said. Zero. No athlete has died. You thought they were dead because the media only reported they tested positive and never followed up. Of course they are not dead. No athlete has died!

Well, I’m an attorney trained at the great LSU Law School and I can count too. You are missing the big picture because you are afraid. Your fear is clouding your judgment. Read the data. Death rate continues to go down. 99.8% recover. High risk group is over 70. Almost 100% of people under 45 recover. All colleges should reopen and football should be played.

You are pathetic JGWS7. You are such a snowflake. Stay home and have food delivered if you are so terrified. It is a big bad world out there. Stay safe. At home.

We will be at Tiger Stadium cheering the Tigers!

Deaths are a lagging indicator. With the increase in case numbers and hospitalizations, increased deaths will follow in 7-14 days.

In the last 13 days in Louisiana, we have had...

+16,549 new cases

+375 hospitalizations

+40 additional patients on ventilators

+195 deaths

You may want the death rate to go up for some hidden agenda of yours but the data now is that the death rate is going down even with the increase of positive cases. It will continue to go down.
