He literally said one of them was silently committed to us. Another we were “on the 1 yard line” with then he committed to another school 4 days later? Yeah ok. Either way it just shows how shite his sources can be.

Recruiting is totally different than a head coach! High school kids can’t ever be trusted! Many years of last minute flips should tell you that. At the time he probably sent that, I’m sure those kids let LSU want to hear what they wanted to hear. Recruiting 17 and 18 year olds change by the minute!

Saban has looked so disenchanted with the recent trends in the game.
But perhaps he feels a strong draw to LSU where he won his first NC, and also sees that we are in a real mess right now, wants to help us.
Makes you wonder, and does seem possible, even if not necessarily likely.

I think the presence of Austin Thomas could play a huge role in this or any coach coming. He can handle the NIL and Transfer portal side of everything.
