I don't know if you should put Cam (or Tebow) out there when talking about your defense against running quarterbacks. Those two were absolute gamebreakers. You could plan perfectly, and they would still be successful. The only running college quarterback I can remember watching on their level or close to it was Eric Crouch back when Nebraska was a thing. Just no answers for guys like that.

Burrow’s a better QB. There, I said it. The 2nd coming of Colt McCoy’s highlights are some really nice, shifty power runs, and a 150 jump 50/50 balls to NFL guys. Reminds me of the Johnny Football hype. Both solid QBs, but with WRs to throw to that are better than almost everyone else in college. LSU is about to expose ole boy when he doesn’t have that advantage.

I’m seeing 4 interceptions for our secondary and linebackers against the Longhorn’s offense.

Guys were in position to drop him at or near the line of scrimmage all day. It wasn't the scheme.

I realize he wasn’t nearly as physically talented, but Scott Frost’s Huskers put up 62 in the NCG against undefeated SEC Champ Florida.

Gators had pummeled everyone that year and then were absolutely embarrassed and exposed by that triple option.

Lawrence Phillips was active for that game after being suspended for most of the season. He was like Nebraska’s Cecil Collins. He died in a prison cell in 2016. Helluva college RB though.

The people of Texas were not very kind to Chaisson’s family when he picked LSU over Texas. He is going to annihilate the Horns in front of their asinine fans!

His return is one of the biggest x factors in the country. National talking heads are calling him one of, if not the best pass rusher in college football. If that's true then Aranda can do anything that he wants to do because the back 7 of this defense looks special...on paper. We'll see.

Add Jacoby Stevens and Delpit running a few blitzes and the qb timing will be all over...then comes the interceptions.

I expect UT to run some old school option. All of the opponents have the Florida film. They beat us down the stretch running the ball. On their touchdown drive they ran several options. Not zone read option players. The real QB goes down the line and options the end or in our case outside linebacker. They bashed us four or five times.

Ehlinger will runit better than Franks.

And so do we. You don’t think Aranda has prepared for this?

It’s likely we will have the offensive player of the year in Burrow, Defensive in Chaisson and Frosh of the year in Stingley

I was there to see Chaisson and North Shore terrorize Ehlinger and Westlake in the TX 6A state title game at NRG Stadium back in ‘15.

I’m ready to see it again.
