Why cant this fanbase wrap their minds around this?

10-2 and a possible Sugar, Peach birth is nothing to scoff at.

Bama will wreck people till the dude leaves, it is what it is.

Stop comparing LSU to fuggin Alabama.

Why are you suggesting that it's okay to settle for falling short of our potential?

Rest of the league, how about rest of the country?
Finebaum, Danielson, Shaw and Saban all need to retire.

Hell no we dont settle, but right now Bama is better than us, people on the board are melting over losing to a team that was a 14 point favorite IN TIGER STADIUM.

Hopefully we get better next year, but people calling for coaches heads and freaking out over a loss to Bama are overreacting.

There is zero room for error now. A loss to anyone besides Alabama pretty much guarantees you won't win the west. Bama's days of two regular season L's are long gone.

I think we need to embrace the fact that we will step up and take our swings and see if we can kill Goliath...but that losing to Goliath isn't the debacle that we are pretending it is.

No it's not. But you realize with a top 30 offense, we are sitting at 11-1, possibly 12-0 at reg season's end, right? An 11-1 LSU with a close loss to Bama would still have us in serious playoff talks.

Because I’m fricking sick of it and this program needs to rise to the occasion

Just giving up on the west altogether while he’s coaching is bogus

You can "not" be ok with it all you want. There's nothing you can do about it. It is what it is. Lsu needs 3 more recruiting cycles to catch up with Bama in the trenches before they can even compete(and that's with elite recruiting). By then we will have a new coach and starting over again.

But that's the point, even if LSU made the playoffs there's 1 team they'll never beat. And that's ok, nobody else will either. I equate it to Tiger Woods, none of the other players would admit it, but when he was in his prime they all just hoped to compete for second place. They hated it, but they had to accept it. Every so often prodigies come along and there's not much you can do.

Saban knows one sweet day when LSU gets a real Offensive Coordinator and starts getting good QBs hes in trouble. We are 1 out of maybe 2 or 3 teams to match them physically in all of college football. We fix our offensive woes and we will be elite again and he knows it, that's why they always come play us with max effort.

No one is giving up, but no one is also beating that dude regularly.

I see fans calling for coaches heads and freaking out over losing to a historically good team, a team that is currently much better than us.

I see people freaking out out over a shut out, we still lose if we put up points, no team on the planet wins with their O line getting wrecked like ours did.

You know why the O line got wrecked? BECAUSE BAMAS D IS BETTER. It sucks arse and is hard to admit, but its a fact.

The melt should be way worse over losing to Florida, WE ARE BETTER THAN FLORIDA.

But again, this is sports and losses happen.

This is such a worthless fricking argument

If I had to fight Mike Tyson, I know I am going to get my arse kicked. That doesnt mean I go into the fight with one hand tied behind my back and just accepting of that fact.

You improve your offense to match your defense and see what happens

Bama being elite doesnt have any bearing on lsu not trying to field its best offense possible

LOL. This is hilarious.

If it weren't for mulligans, Saban would have three titles.

Bama loses a game every year, and the past 8-9 years, it has consistently been their most important SEC game that season. They've even lost several of these games at Home.

Just because LSU's staff is a joke doesn't mean other SEC teams aren't beating them.
