Greater than having the best team ever in 2019? Your hatred is showing.

I may be going out on a limb, but I'd say all of 2019>>>>>>>>>>Les Miles being fired
This thread sucks arse. Enjoy the downvote.

Miles defenders will claim a natty but he won those with Saban players.
This is literally the dumbest shite you backwoods fricking mouth breathers say.

Lol, you must not have been alive for the Curley Hallman years! That was far more a greater moment
Posted on 7/17/20 at 11:25 pm to LSUFanMizeWay
Archer went 10-1-1 and we finished 5th in the country in his first season as a coach!!! He was light years better than Curley as a coach!!

Not at QB. Plug in Etling or Lee or Jefferson or Mett at QB last year and no way in the world we win the Natty.

We dodged bullets with Jimbo & Herman!
I’ll say this, I wouldnt Change a thing the way things works out last year, BUT I think any coach would have a better record at LSU that They would have at Texas or A&M
The worst thing you can say about Herman is he’s too dumb to realize Texas is a sink pit
The worst thing you can say about a Jimbo is he’s too greedy to care that A&M is a sink pit.

You’re an even bigger loser

The day Les got canned is literally one of my all-time favorite LSU sports moments in the last 40 years.

"You morons think LSU could just hire anyone and they'd win 10 games??"

How many concur?
Not even close. Halftime of Bama 2019, or when Lionel Turner sacked Jason White to seal the natty, was mine.
If replacing coaches is your gig, Charlie McClendon had less top-level success, hung on longer, and was far less competitive when he was replaced.

The skilled players of any LSU team over the last 10-15 years are pretty much equal
Really? There was another year in which 5 of our 6 starting skilled players on offense were first round draft choices? A year in which our safeties were a 5 star and a Thorpe winner? A year in which our corners were a second round draft choice and a (future) three time AA and Bednarik/Thorpe winner? I must have missed that year?

just a reminder that after year 3, Les was a National Champ with the highest scoring offense in school history too.
Then he ran out of quarterbacks that had been coached by the previous staff.

Then he put together the greatest regular season in college football history and won an SEC Championship. If not for the terrible bad luck of having to face Bama again we would be calling that the greatest team in CFB history.

And there are those that still insist that Miles did not ride the coattails of Nick Saban. Not paying homage to Saban here, but let’s be objective and set the record straight. Saban did the heavy lifting for Miles. Suck it up people and admit your mistake! Even when Miles was winning (including the 2007 NC), he still got waaaaay more credit than he deserved. Had Nick Saban not come to Baton Rouge, the “legend” of Les Miles wouldn’t even exist.

RP would've been a better QB than Flynn, who was actually coached longer by Miles staff.

quote:If he coached so many future NFL stars, where are the corresponding National Championships that should be in the LSU trophy case during the time they played in BR? Unfair? It was happening in Tuscaloosa. I think you should credit the player's mother and father and their respective gene pools rather than Miles' coaching ability.
Forget that [Miles] also sent a ton of guys to the NFL because of how well they performed under him.
And let's not forget Miles' legendary propensity for squandering talent.

Greatest thing thing happened with LSU was getting rid of Hallman! Second was letting Lester go !
