Go count 2012 again.
Porter started a game for Lonergan
So:
Faulk
dworacyk
Collins
Lonergan
Porter
Williford
Turner
Hurts
Alexander all started games
Do you want to reassess Studrawa as an OC?

Deculus & Weathersby did not start any games last year. Thanks for playing though

Lester's argument is unravelling with a little bit of digging? Shocker I tell you.

Weathersby definitely did.
But Deculus didn’t.
We player 7 last year but mostly because we played Charles at 3 different position.

Why am I counting 2012 again?

Cushenberry, not Weathsby. My fault

Because we had 9 offensive linemen start and it is within the last 18 years.

Have to give him credit though. At least he attempts to come with reasoning for his opinions, unlike a few other people on this board.
I think he argues the opposite of popular opinion, just to argue, but he presents it in a manner that leads to a decent discussion. He's not just making excuses, using hypotheticals, and name calling.

Please keep going Lester.

Sammy, what the frick does this mean to you when you read it? Good god are you being serious right now?
LSU has started this many lineman only 1 other time in the last 18 years.

It's funny how the 2017 offensive line was able to plug players in (9 total, in fact) and continue to play well while 2018 completely fell apart having to do the same thing.
It's almost like the coaches did a better job in 2017 than they did in 2018.

Sorry, I misunderstood You.
But let’s talk about the underlying point:
Should we withhold judgment on Ensminger because we started 9 OL last year.
I’m gonna say no.
Because a bad offense is a bad offense. The OL didn’t help it but I dont Think this offense was ever going anywhere. Throw in the fact that Charles didn’t miss any major games and really only sat out games he could early on and Deculus was hammered in at RT by week 3, and I dont Think the injuries even compare to 2012 when we lost our LT like 2 games in, our RT 6 games in and our RG 6 games in for the season.
Yet we still judged Studrawa and fired him, and I say rightfully So.

Stud was at lsu for 7 seasons. Are you comparing that to one year under Cregg? Or something to do with Ensminger?
I’m not understanding the parallels I guess

I am talking about Ensminger
Both OCs
Both had OL issues
Both had statistically terrible offenses
Both had 1st year starting QBs.
One we all kinda accept was garbage
One gets some kind of weird pass.
I will also predict your excuses
“Ensminger is a first year OC”
“Burrow transferred late”
“you’re gonna compare Collins to Brumsfield”
Realistically, I dont Think this offense was just bad because we had a bad OL.

I’m sorry but I’m even more confused now. Are you talking about Stud or Cam Cameron?
Posted on 12/19/18 at 1:05 pm to Lester Earl
Stud.
I’ve been comparing the offense to 2012
So the OC in 2012 would make sense.
Are you unaware who our OC was in 2011 and 2012?

Only because Miles respected him and quietly told him to pursue other opportunities.
He essentially was in fact fired, at least that's been my understanding. Am I misinformed?
