every year, they kept picking us high with les at the helm. and every year there was no offense.

now he's gone, we've got a real change going, but no one will believe it until they see it. and you know what, most of us really can't believe it til we see it, either!

so I got no problem with that. although I believe we will change. will this team be able to change the team mindset that was drilled in for 12 years? line up and punch it out.

Well, of course. We broke school records the GAME after Les was fired with a TE coach calling the plays.

Les had built up equity with his early success, peaking in 2011. Perception-wise he lived off that equity the last 4 years at LSU.
O on the other hand has no such equity.

It's sort of like a Tiger changing its stripes. Will take some doing.

The Tigers have a preseason All American at tailback, a QB that is considered average at best, and an inexperienced receiving corp.

Stating that LSU is going to still lean heavily on the run game is a pretty safe prediction to make.

Well of course they do! Have you read the rant, the O loathing and whining about the poor coaching job search, the lack of quality talent on this team, etc? I mean, we are doomed, I tell ya, and the pundits believe it, too!

i'm not discouraged, though. we could have a magical season, but we'll need some luck.

no injuries on the OL or at middle LB. etling to play as well as we hope he will based on last year and being more healthy this year.

receivers have to step up and the defense has to really come together quickly.

but before the first game is played - sure, we have a good team but not one that you would expect to challenge for the west.

i'm hopeful that will change after the first 3 SEC games.

It's journalism in the year 2017: Say anything, print anything. It doesn't have to be true or factually based.

We will still be a running team. No, I don't think it will be 50/50. That's just O blowing smoke up y'all's asses.

LSU s preseason 13. So some people still think this squad is full of talent.

A TE coach that hadn't called plays since the 90's.

Geaux ahead ! idiot rant board , throw that ball, throw that ball, ! there is three things that can happen to a ball in the air and two of them are bad . There are air it out teams all over this country and a lot of them are losers ! Football people recognize a good game when they see it when you are down 63 to 55 they are not impressed , no matter how much they like idea of passing ! Please come back Coach Miles the idiot board had no idea on what they were doing !
