ABSOLUTELY THE HEAD COACH'S FAULT.

When LSU caught the ball with time on the clock, an Ole Miss player came out of the scrum with the ball. Miles had to have that ball back. Period. He then turned and asked where was the FG. No one knew. But the time ran out before we could put the ball in play.Moot point.
Your time line is a bit compounded it seems, Miles doesn't start doing his river dance kicking until the entire offensive line is lined up and Jefferson gets under center

not arguing that.
My one and only point is that
MILES DID NOT SIGNAL A SPIKE!!!
He was desperately trying to ensure that LSU was going to keep possession of the ball.

Who cares if the Pope came out with the ball?

"Miles" never lost possession of the ball, no matter what you tell yourself.

I like how you spin the complete failure as a "moot point".

Miles coaching did lose the game, he did not call for a spike. However, some of you are as dumb as he is at this point.
I don't know what to say. Miles is a MENSA member compared to you.

Until WBRZ posts the unedited video, thats just speculation.

Let me make it simple. Miles did not have his fg unit on the sideline right by him ready to go. His fault. Miles ran down the sideline yelling at no one in particular making an arbitrary motion that could be easily mistaken for a spike (along with assistant) when he has no bearing on an officials call. His fault. Game over. His fault.
In either scenario Miles comes out looking awful. I don't understand the importance of him calling a spike or not. He was concerned with things he shouldn't have and did not have his team prepared for ALL circumstances coming out of the timeout before 4th down. Simple. I know.

The plan was an EZ Hail Mary. JJ didnt get it there. When LSU caught the ball with time on the clock, an Ole Miss player came out of the scrum with the ball. Miles had to have that ball back. Period. He then turned and asked where was the FG. No one knew. But the time ran out before we could put the ball in play.Moot point.
Oh really? You mean we had to HAVE THE BALL to score? Brilliant.
You are operating under the assumption that Miles making a spiking motion could possibly affect the referees on the field or in the booth. It's a moronic assumption, and if Miles was operating under that same assumption (that his arm motions were going to assure him getting the ball), then he's even dumber than we thought. Not only would it never in a million years change what the refs called, but you STILL have to get the field goal team ready either way and shouldn't be wasting time worrying about the call on the field. If you are saying he had processed everything and thought that his antics were going to get a booth replay, then obviously you are high.

wtf, I don't think WBRZ photoshopped the offensive unit getting set with Miles doing his kicking motion in the background

Whether Miles called a spike, Crowton called a spike or T-Bob called for a spike, the fact is that LSU was not ready for what took place. No strategy after a long pass completion. No strategy before the long pass completion.
Jefferson got the spike call from his signal caller. Somebody had to tell the signal caller what to call. If not, that's even a bigger issue.

Because WBRZ has plenty of reason to completely throw whatever journalistic integrity it has left straight out the window.
Right.

Right, at this point I don't give a shite if Nick Saban called in the spike call from Alabama...the fact that Les was clueless as to who called for the spike shows he has shitty control of his team and his surroundings

The only way I'm embarrassing myself is by letting a couple of retards like you and RobbBobb keep me entertained this long.

This is pretty much all that needs to be said, when he is converting 5 4th downs against UF he takes all the credit for those calls...but when a call goes shitty he is looking around the room saying I'm just as clueless as you guys when it comes to knowing where that call came from

Tigger and Robb u should quit arguing with these guys. U guys are right, Miles did not call for a spike. Dumb stuff before yeah but no spike. These guys are looking for any reason to pile on an already bad/embarassing situation for Miles.

Are you a fricking retard? This thread is going along with the "he was calling his player down theory"

I don't care who called a spike. I'm more pissed at the last minute of the game, not the hail mary completion and the ensuing chicken chase.
Miles brought everything upon himself. I was a loyal supporter of his until yesterday at around 6:00 PM.
