They compete the entire game. They play with the ranked teams for 30 min or more. They do not have the talent or experience yet to win those games. This team is Reed and an SEC PG away from winning some of those games and if he does his job in the offseason this team can be much better than it is this year. I’ll put OM loss on McMahon. But his team is playing much better considering the talent level they are playing against.

Winning some of those? So we are a 5 man team away from a tourney team? They do not compete. They get a little hot from beyond the arc to keep some games close. We also have had games where he had the post play to win. We actually match up well vs Florida. But instead of going down low, we shoot 31 threes. Chest should have played 20 minutes or more. 10 minutes?

3-12 in the conference and 15th in a 16 team league is not competitive.

Didn't you say he was definitely fired You don't have sources. You also said wade would be back

I did say he was gone. That was expecting his buyout to be paid. Things change. And I’ve been saying Wade is NOT coming back but have said if something happens with Scott, there is a chance.

Losing being competitive gets you more seasons. Losing not being competitive gets your fired.

We've been competitive last two games against # 2 and # 5. Just don't have enough to win.

There is an overall that supersedes individual games or performances.

14-37 now in the SEC for CoachMc.

For a zero year coach narrative, it's still 12-23 SEC the last 2 seasons. We're on course to go 3-15 in the SEC.

Some numbuts think a fan like myself doesn't want to win games - and I'm in every game thread rooting for us to win. It's silly to me.

The problem is he coaches like a pussy and the team reflects that. They're so weak.

Maybe McMahon will walk around with his participation medal at the end of the season? They give those out at the YMCA. Perhaps there are a few extras.

In his 3 seasons LSU has been, cumulatively, the worst program in the league. That’s not a subjective opinion. That’s objective fact. Once the year is over LSU will have the fewest SEC wins over the last 3 seasons. A feat in futility even more remarkable when you realize two teams had seasons where they won 0 and 1 conference game during that stretch.

They pretend to refuse to see what is directly in front of their face.

There is zero objectivity. It's all agenda, contrarian, point of contention. Every excuse has been used and exhausted.

They refuse to see what is right in front of their eyes. They excuse any and everything. There is no prima facie, it's all ignored and they just opinionise.

For some dudes, optimism isn't something I disrespect. But if optimism and hope turns into an argument, that's silly.

How can one discuss honestly when one side is facts and other side is opinion and optimism.

We were out rebounded by a total of 36 in these two games, and out rebounded by 16 just on the offensive glass. In games where the FG stat was fairly close (dead even in the UT game). That is not competitive. The talent gap may account for 4-5 rebounds per game in these two games, the rest is getting out worked on the boards.

These are also the same people who claimed that Wade wasn’t getting the job done and was in decline in 2022 because he only won 9 conference games.

Ignoring the fact that we had back to back top 15 wins (UT and UK) before we lost our PG, and still made the tournament as a 6 seed.

Or even Alabama. It’s not a hard concept. They don’t have the talent. They aren’t deep. LSU will have to get top talent who can dominate.
