We truly have the worst fan base. I’m not here for likes. I speak it how it is. For those who ACTUALLY expected CBK to come in and have this allllllll fixed ONE game into the season, you don’t know football. Yes, we all have high hopes and expectations of our Tigers, but dammit be realistic and give this a chance to pan out.

1) calling for CBK to be fired or questioning the hire…. Just shut up already. He’s currently the winningest coach in college football. Mistake on team will be made, coaching included until the players have GAME EXPERIENCE and make the adjustments. Kelly and staff cannot go out there and play FOR them. He fricking turned our team, who had 38 scholarship players and a WR playing QB to end the season last year, into a 75 man roster that is still considered short handed. Yep, it’s amazing what he’s been able to accomplish recruiting wise up til this point, it’s a process people! Stand by him and our Tigers or GTFO.

2) MULTPILE things lost the game, not JUST one! O-line at this point is atrocious, special teams killed us and ultimately was the dagger. YES, we see Daniels a lot quick to get off reads and tuck it, but for everyone calling for Nuss….cmon man. I like Nuss also, I’m not bias to either. Honestly I like most am curious to see how HE would also look in our offense and weight the pros and cons. With the inconsistency of the O-line, I highly doubt his numbers would have been any better. Yep, I agree on occasion he probably would stand and sling it quicker than Daniels did. But also at times don’t fools yourself, Daniels is EXACTLY what we needed back there, BC his elusiveness was the only thing that extended the plays, and in some cases the drives. NOW, I said AT TIMES. A lot is left to be desired, but cmon Tiger fans…. Pay attention to STATS

DANIELS went 26/35 for 209 yds - 2 TD’s and ZERO TURNOVERS (74% and 84.3 QB rating)
Also ran 16 times for 114 yds
323 TOTAL yds of offense was by HIM.
Could Nuss have done better!?? AT TIMES, in certain circumstances, I’m certain. Others…. Daniels is what we needed.

O-Line was abused all night, pocket collapsed all night around him, running games was little to none on interior BC FSU D-line had control. OH, we also gave up 6TFL which included 4 sacks (only one I atttibute to Daniels making a wrong decision and not pulling the trigger on an open WR, hence getting taken down). Yep, most def his reads could have been better a few times, we ALL saw that. I don’t think it’s ever been said that he was a better PASSER than Nuss. Nuss is a gunslinger, and I happen to love that. Daniels isn’t bad, never once did I see a fan complain about Burrow throwing 74% completions and ZERO TURNOVERS??

…and before someone says shite about the last drive PADDED HIS STATS… Just shut up.
Name one QB in the past fricking decade that would have drove us in that manner, in that time, with that pressure and that much on the line…. Only to stand cool as a cucumber with 1 sec left and toss the potential game tying TD…
Last drive we gained 104 yards totally officially (1 sack added yardage to official numbers) ..… 66 pass and 38 rushing (all by Daniels on two solid rushes avoiding sacks both times and resulting in first downs)
He went 7-7 people n that last drive!!

……… idk know about y’all but only ONE QB would even considerably come to mind and that’s the man himself #9 (Burrow for those idiots that we seem to attract as “fans”

3) more on Daniels from WR standpoint
Player ——— Target — Rec — Yds
Jenkins 5 5 46
Thomas Jr 5 5 44
Nabers 5 5 42
M. Taylor 5 4 34
Boutte 6 2 20
Lacy 1 1 14
K. Taylor 1 1 8
Bech 1 1 5
Goodwin 1 1 -3
Cain 3 0 0

NINE incompletions in which 3 were to a RB direction in an effort to just not take a sack in running for his life due to O-line non-existence and 4 to our All-American WR who had the yips, attitude problem, disinterest, or whatever you want to call it. That’s 7 of his 9 towards two targets. As I said, yep he damn well missed some open reads as well and a few times was quicker tuck it than we would have liked. But to say he isn’t the man for the job is a fricking stretch. NOW I’m saying that, we don’t KNOW how Nuss would have done, there is still alot to be desired by us as a fan base to see this offense click. QB however isn’t the fricking problem!!!!!!

4) special teams
Speaks for itself. Def have improving to do on ALL aspects. Period

4) defense was All-American caliber allllll night on FIRST AND SECOND DOWNS, but geeeez on 3rd downs we were as bad as I’ve seen. Have to get stronger at LB and underneath coverages and tackling. Period!

Also, losing two all-American caliber players in first quarter hurt is bad, idc what anyone says!! That and those two gone made a difference!!

All of this, and as a fan in seeing and recognizing this, do ya know what I saw!?!?!

A defense that struggled all night in 3rd down and getting FSU off the field, rose to the occasion not once, but TWICE when needed and out us in a spot to win.

I saw a coaching staff, AND teammates that no doubt has some growing pains and improving to do, back a kid that had a definite forgetful night after dropping his SECOND punt and all but seal an L, pick that young man up and rally around him and when we DID get the ball back, go right fricking to him the first TWO PLAYS in the shadow of our own end zone and get that young man’s head right back in the game.

I saw a team that for no doubt 3/4 of the game, start to catch a rhythm mid 3rd qu and was actually unstoppable offensively by games end. The last three drives we had, FSU didn’t have an answer, period.

I saw HEART. fricking HEART! A pulse!
Something we did not see last season! That last drive (ex point excluded) was NOT something we would have seen period last season!

I agree, I would have liked to see that fire from the beginning. I would have loved to see way less mistakes. I would have been happy to not be worried about a lot honestly moving forward. BUt people iTS game 1, year 1 for CBK and staff. We were a different team by games end than we were in the first half. We will be a TOTALLY different team by seasons end than we are now. Trust the process, quit calling for Kelly’s head already. Quit calling for Daniels head. Just stfu if you don’t truly know and understand how this works and that we will be FINE!

We truly have the worst fricking fan base I’ve ever seen. To you REAL fans who are realistic about it all and are making posts at least with merit, I commend you all and thank you for being what true fans should be. The rest, just quit already and be all in, or be quiet so you don’t give the rest of us such headaches???????

Love our Tigers!!! ??????????

Not so much firing him, as much as questioning the hire and saying dumb shite like ‘we were better off with Coach O’ ???????

I appreciate the post breaking it all down. BUT

With all LSU had go wrong, they had 1 huge problem Sunday.... The 2 "STUD" WR's!!!!

These 2 dudes were terrible, Were suppose to be the best group of team LSU had, and help a new QB. Yes LSU has other flaws and have things to work on but if these 2 dudes play close to the hype or potential LSU is never in position to be scrambling to find points late in the game.

I agree some but then the GD hype department should have admitted that this was a rebuilding year instead of lying to us again.

Expectations were allowed to be set high so now everyone is pissed

Half the team is made up of transfers and not SEC transfers, but from lower level programs. JD and maybe 1 other being the exception. This is not a normal LSU roster, in fact we still have 15 or so schollys to give. I hope we sign 35 this year

Fix the mistakes and we may still win 6 or 7 games.
