He was the OC for the best offense Miles has ever had.

Crowton was also the OC under Les for another great offensive year. Does that mean Crowton is a legit OC/QB coach?

Good god.

There are people like you actually out there who still don't understand what and who the common denominator problem is.

Les Miles is and will always be the offensive coordinator as long he is at LSU. Cam is just a placeholder.

I find it extraordinarily difficult to believe that 4 consecutive OCs were so in love with the toss dive.

I was at the Wisconsin game. Couple of Wisky fans in front of me were wondering what our first play would be. I interrupted and told them 'toss dive to Fournette over left tackle.' They high-fived me after the play.

Harris is not a dual threat at lsu. He never keeps the read option, no bootlegs, no qb draws, nothing.

He is a prostyle qb in a shitty overall system afraid to throw an int. That's les, not cam.

Can consistently had top 10 QBs and offenses in the nfl. I have a hard time believing he sucks.

Coach Cameron is on a very short leash. The calls are relayed through Coach Miles only then approves or disapproves. We can scream all we want about the calls but if one looks at Cameron's system in the NFL, his RB's all were utilized to a greater extent than they are here. It really is a shame that so much expertise on the coaching staff is being underutilized. Coach Cameron didn't become stupid overnight. Philosophy has dictated this offense and it's not from the assistants...it directed by the HC.

To add to that, he also came from a Juco that was based on passing attack!!

I agree with that, but not a accomplished passer.
Not Cam's fault- chickensalad/chickenshit and hope LSU is in a different boat.

we don't need brandon harris to be an accomplished passer...

he can fricking run, and i like him even less as a qb because he doesn't.

All Pro style QBs.

Drew Brees was turned into a pro style QB. He was a spread QB who even ran a lot out of college. It was actually considered a negative for him coming out.

He had more rushing yards in 1 year than Jefferson had for his entire career.

True, but he was on his way to being fired.
9-7 Year one.
6-10 Year two.

I agree with the OPs post. Cam needs a high IQ guy to run his offense. Harris does not match with what he is trying to do. They need to dumb down the offense and run something more simple for Harris. Brandon Harris needs to play as an athlete rather than a pocket passer. Look at all the young successful QBs in college right now. Every single one of them is a dual threat. Most of them make big plays moving out of the pocket and using there feet, rather if they scramble for 10 yards or find an open receiver down field.

If Cam had been fired by CLM last yr, that would have mean LSU has had 5 OC's in his last 10 yrs. CLM is the problem, not the OC. Don't forget, Jimbo left in disgust after his first yr of being handcuffed by CLM.
