Christ. He won the A&M game 4 times. If he wins the bowl game he'll have 10 wins and finish right inside or right outside the top 10 with a ton coming back next year. On top of an elite recruiting class. He won't be LSU's coach in 5 years and I don't think LSU ever wins a championship with him as long as Saban is at Bama but to act like he doesn't have a lot of positive things going for this program right now is silly.

I was under the assumption that all major universities hire PR companies. But, it’s hard to argue that we aren’t having success. NY6 bowl game, stellar recruiting class, I like this.

Eh. I'm considered as much a nega as anyone on this board, but the positive news being reported is 100% deserved right now. LSU just had a great early signing day.

People don't want to hear this after signing day but it's true. Obviously the people predicting he would horribly crash and burn (not me) were wrong. I like many others saw hiring O as a mere continuation and maybe slight step back from where we were the last couple years under Les. So far I'm not exactly wrong. Maybe Ensminger will shock me and the offense next year will make huge leaps forward. If not I just dont see us getting over this 9-3, 10-2 hump considering the strides our opponents are making in coaching and recruiting. When it might really get interesting is when/if O has to replace Aranda. In any event, kudos to O and staff for reeling in a mighty fine recruiting class this cycle. I hope we can finish even stronger in February.

Yep. Coaching staff has really put in a lot of work recruiting and has a great class so far that could even improve. Hopefully, that translates on the field and we can have a great year in 2019 and have a top 5 finish in the polls as well.
