The day Moscona is right about something is the day after it happens. Stopped listening to him 2 years ago

Horribly worded tweet to try to make that point, kinda weak. But I’m glad he stuck up for LSU.

CRT is the theory that if you are white, you are, by default, guilty by association of all the sins of slave owners and Jim Crow era white people.

This is a lie. What happens if I were to say I have a job opening and I’m only hiring left handed people? The lefties have nothing to do with my decision to hire only people like them. But the fact is, the lefties are the ones who benefited from my fricked up decision because I’ve excluded a large group of possible competitors. Doesn’t mean they individually did a single thing wrong. Doesn’t mean they didn’t work their asses off to be qualified enough for the job either but they still benefited from my BS.

Or maybe…just maybe….”CRT” is the latest boogeyman overhyped to scare everyone?

FWIW, it seems to be something that has been co-opted by two “sides” to suit their radical agenda, which completely overshadows any academic legitimacy it might have.

It feels good to tell yourself this, but it doesn’t make it true. You want to get “back to normal” and act like everything that has happened over the last few years was just an anomaly so you tell yourself this story you made up.

We’re just taking a breath after defeating Shariah law that was taking over our communities, and here comes CRT. And we lost some good men defeating the menace of Satanic cults and backward masking. When will it end?

Y’all watched cities burn for months while the cops stood down and you still don’t get it. It’s all related. To them the system is racist. These people aren’t debating the content of academic articles involving critical race theory in law. They are using the core beliefs of CRT to justify fundamental changes to our society based on lies.

Where do you think the words systemic racism and equity come from? You hear them on a daily basis yet you still refuse to believe this nonsense is being force fed to our society.

This proves the point I was trying to make.

Those who are burning down cities, tearing down statues of Jefferson and Lincoln, etc are just as disingenuous as those who have made it the boogeyman.

I see an analogy with Darwinism/Evolution. There are those that argue it justifies poverty, eugenics, murder or genocide. There are those who claim it’s a hoax to discredit religion. In reality it’s just a hypothesis based on observations.

Strawman

That’s not at all what CRT is. Not even close.

That's ironic; white people almost always build a StrawMan to change the subject and make somebody else the boogeyman when it comes to avoiding an honest discussion about racism:

Kaepernick kneels to draw attention to police brutality? Oh nevermind that; muh flag and soldiers and troops ate disrespeckted!

BLM protests unarmed blacks killed by cops? Nevermind that; they're all rioters and looters and communist anarchists, let's talk about that instead

A university president wants to start an honest dialogue about the systemic racism in this country? Nevermind that; let's create a new boogeyman- "Critical Race Theory"- it's gonna brainwash our kids and teach everyone to hate white people....
Now, we can label any attempt at acknowledging racism exists as dangerously subversive CRT.

Oh good grief, the whole reason white people have demonized Kaepernick and BLM and CRT, et al, is just an elaborate attempt to pretend racism does NOT exist so that they can feel better about themselves

No. You just aren’t paying attention.

CRT is one of the foundational sciences behind wokeness

CRT is like physics in the woke world. Most people know how gravity works and can demonstrate it to you, but they can’t write out the equations on a chalk board.

CRT drives the reasoning that justifies their beliefs.

“Any system that produces unequal outcomes between races is by definition racist”

Therefore the criminal justice system is racist
Therefore the criminal justice system must be destroyed
Therefore we must riot when we believe a black man is wrongly treated by the criminal justice system

What white people say racism doesn’t exist?
Maybe they said SYSTEMIC RACISM doesn’t exist.

CRT is a completely different topic than random racism. Stop trying to confound the two issues.
