Zenon pick 6 vs UT in 2007 SECCG. It made that game for the Tigers which ended up sending them to the NCG.

quote:

Said Zenon: ``We had prepared for that situation and we know they would run that play. That's exactly what they did.''

And also, Flynn to Byrd vs Auburn 2007.

After starting the game with a penalty for AU stomping on the EYE, slick nick kicked an onside...got it...went down and scored, kicked off and Michael Clayton laid a punishing SPEAR tackle on the returner...

One of my most memorable TS moments!

I was in the south EZ with my brother ( a Bammer)in a sea of Aubies. My brother was wearing some LSU gear over an Alabama shirt. When that kick returner got knocked out on the 2nd ko, he stood up and gave the guy a 10 count and the aubies were furious. They went on and and on about how classless LSU fans were. He then stood up and took off the LSU shirt to reveal his bammer status and all they all threw cups and trash at him. It was hilarious. I also remember Duval's scuffle with TGBFTL, rushing the field, and the profuse smoking of cigars.

Davey to Robert Royal over the middle for a TD. UT game in 2000 at TS to win it in overtime. Emotionally that was HUGE and the fans agreed rushing the field.

That was a sign that we were 'back' after the Dinardo debacle.

Honorable mentions

Herb Tyler's option run for a TD against the Gators in 1997.

Onside kick to start Auburn game in 2001 at TS.

Hodson to Fuller 1988.

Chad Jones knocking the ball away from Bama's SJP to preserve the Tiger victory over Saban/Bama in '07.

Flynn to Byrd.

Unbelievable last 30 seconds.

I immediately over to see Tubby's reaction and he had his hands on his knees, bent over in disbelief. It was a beautiful sight.

Many of the ones mentioned were great, so I'll add another.

Brandon Lafell's hit on Zack Smith (I think) from MSU - dude looked like a bobble head doll when he got hit. That was brutal.

I hate to bring up tough losses but the facemask against USC in '79. I was there and I will never forget that game or that play.
Flynn to Byrd my favorite good play that lead to NC.

For me, it was Todd Kinchen's punt return against A&M. One of the most incredible single plays I've ever seen. Unbelievable individual effort.

While it ultimately is not one of the most meaningful plays in LSU history, back when I was in school, we really had very little to cheer about in Death Valley. This play was a gem in a bin full of coal that lasted... 4 years.

It may have been said but i dont wont to read all posts.

with less than a minute on the clock title on the line. Heisman winner Jason White drops back to pass. on a delayed blitz Lionel Turner busts through and seals the game with one of the many big hits put on white that night.

Most memorable to me. first title at LSU since 59>. In the Dome no less

I have two of them:
Bert Jones to Brad Davis--circa '72 to beat Ole Piss 17-16.

Blocked FG against Auburn for a 21-20 win--circa '71

My Dad was a rabid LSU fan and these plays stick out in my mind like they happened two minutes ago.
The dates may be a bit skewed, but excitement of the moment lives on.

I was front row for several plays while I was a student.

Mauck to Skyler - the advocate camera guy was literally right in front of me, so the view I had watching the ball come down was amazing

JV breaking it to open the SEC championship game - front row again. I watched the play develop without really watching JV. I was focusing on the line to see what they did, and I believe it was Wilkerson that pulled and opened the hole for JV. All of a sudden, all you could see was daylight.

Sooo many come to mind.

Lavalais bitch slapping the guard on the aubies 4th down then bitch slapping Cadillac Williams for a loss which solidified the fact that their offense wasn't going to do jack that night.

except for the last minute score ala blugrass miracle or jones to davis I think I remember defensive plays as the ones that change games.

Donaldson's interception return for a touchdown against florida

Toefield 79 yard rush for touchdown against UT in our overtime win in 2000. One of the louder moments in TS. He had a stiff arm joust with UTs safetey, Battle, for about 10 yards. Finally, Battle fell down and Toefield took it to the house. That game, to me, was the game where LSU put themselves back on the map

the bluegrass miracle was awesome for me, but recently when keiland williams jumped over a linemen then out-raced everbody to the endzone was another for me.
