And that is alright. There is no reason to believe Harris will have 30+ attempts in a game any time in his career. We might see a couple 250+ yard passing games out of Harris, but this team is not built or coached to sling it all over the field. If you are expecting anything different, what in the past 10 years of watching Les makes you think so?

LSU doesn't need to play that way. The O-line, running backs, and defense are good enough to play predictable and tight, and still be a national title contender. Miles sticks with what he knows, and when he has the talent it is a beautiful thing to watch when LSU sucks the life out of good teams by running it down their throat a whole game.

It will open up. No where to go but more open.

To open it against Auburn would have been a mistake, but passes are coming. Soon.

There is a huge gap between where the passing game is now and 30+ attempts.

It will open up.

You're probably right but,Cuse is ranked 6th in rush D and 115th against the pass.Could be an opportunity to let BH have a few more attempts.

"Opening up" doesn't mean 30+ passes. Not for this team. It'll open up by the Bama game like it always does.

Well, I disagree that LSU does not need to play that way. Maybe they will need to play that way. BTW 250 passing would be AWESOME! It needs to be enough to put doubt in opposing defenses and DCs. That's it.

What throw do you want Harris to make that he has not at least attempted this season? He has thrown bombs. Deep crossing routes. Deep outs. Bubble screens. Slants. Even chest flips. We have a diverse passing game that we just have not needed. It's there though.

Some of you would complain about Jamal Adams if our front 7 stoned every play at the line and we held our opponents to 0 yards.

Syracuse is ranked 6th in run D after Rhode Island, Wake Forrest, and Central Michigan. In an OOC game on the road against a bad team LSU will run the ball, win pretty easily, and go home.

It will only "open" up as much as is needed to win a specific ball game. And as quickly as it opens it will close back up the following week if throwing is not needed to win.

Your not about to see anything that resembles the 2013 passing offense though.

To get where they want to go, it will have to.
It hasn't needed to yet because you are not playing from behind.

Play to a team's weakness, Auburns Run D was atrocious so we ran it, Alabama is still trying to figure out what a secondary is.

It will open up.

I think they need to open up a little more before this. BH needs some more work to be ready when it does happen.

We've already heard complaints about Jamal Adams after the Moo St game. "Is Jamal Adams off his game," I believe was the thread, when we were dominating Moo State at the line of scrimmage.

So yeah. I think we're just lulling teams to sleep like we always do. The passing game will be there when we need it. We'll maybe stay around 15 attempts for the next four games, but they will definitely start hitting more often.

I think Harris' screen throws were definitely more on target this game than the Moo St. game, so... we're inching closer and closer.

So 7 points in the final three quarters against Miss St was fine with you?

Really? We have multiple future NFL receivers and a QB with a rocket arm.
