the most they gave up all year was 23 to CSU. They are only giving up an average of 9.75 points a game! they only give up 2.3 yards a rush!

I guess if you add up the points allowed in every game you can say plenty of teams [combined to] put up points on bama.

In these games it comes down to 1-2 big plays and defense. In the past where Alabama has come out on top in a close game they have made the big plays. LSU has failed to capitalize on every game changing play they have attempted. Only way LSU wins this game is if they play very good defense and make 1-2 game defining plays. Otherwise it'll probably be 30-0 Alabama.

We have to control their nose guard. He gets pressure up the gut on every play. We need a 280 lb FB/TE to get a running start and hit him in the chest on every damn play until they have to adjust. Their DL keeps the OL off their LBs by penetration and holding. If we can’t knock that MF on his arse a few times, it won’t matter how good our D is.

If every bounce and call goes our way, and the defense can hang with Bama's O through 3 quarters and it's within 10 points or so? I give us a puncher's chance.
We have tremendous athletes and football players all over the field, even on the lines. While we don't quite have the depth of Alabama, if everything clicks on Saturday we can play with them.
