are the ones not playing. Anybody on the field making a contribution will not even know what the temperature is. Watch the steam coming off their heads when they take their helmets off. Cold will not have an impact.

The weather aspect has been completely overblown. Will not affect the players on the field once they go through warm ups. This team doesn’t strike me as a mentally fragile group.

It’s not like Arky has been playing in the 30-40s for months. It was 70 degrees in Fayetteville yesterday.

It does impact throwing, catching and kicking a football somewhat but I don’t think 40 degree’s will make a huge difference in any of that. Hopefully we get some really good warmups in. We have struggled with drops and special teams at times so it does add a small variable into the equation but I think it’s somewhat overblown.

Brian Kelly knows how to coach in the cold too.

People make way too much of a deal of a cold weather. Once you get warmed up and your body temp up, you don't even notice.

37 at kickoff isn't bad at all. Should feel really refreshing actually.

Agree. It’s a lot easier to pull muscles in the first few snaps when your body is not used to the cold. But I’m sure Kelly will extend the warmup considering this isn’t his first rodeo so it shouldn’t be a problem.

i live up north and i admit i am a total bitch when it comes to cold weather.

i bundle up on my way to the gym when it’s freezing, and on the walk back i usually stay in my tee shirt or hoodie. the players will be fine tomorrow

Some folks don't know what cold is. Try living in Minnesota for a winter. That's cold.

The coldest I've ever been at a football game was an afternoon game in Fayetteville. About 10 years ago.

You’ve obviously never played football in the cold.

It wont change the outcome of the game, but cold definitely effects players and their ability to execute.

I don't know many tiny 6'3" 200-pound dudes. He may be on the thin side but he ain't tiny.

But he sure doesn't have much insulation
