Problem is it seems the perceived SEC bias and the rightful believe that the conference is the strongest is fading as Bama is on the ropes. At first LSU's victory over Bama propelled us. But then we let Ole Miss run roughshod on our D and Tua goes down. Now all the sudden a victory over Bama on the road isn't impressive anymore? Auburn loses to UGA who lost to USCe who lost to ApSt. The SEC giant (Bama) looking less then the dominant force they have been only seems to be hurting us and that's where the rhetoric is changing.
Is a Bama victory in the Iron Bowl maybe better? Even though they may sneak in??

GEAUX TIGERS!!! Don’t under estimate these young men. They are on a mission. Just win and everything will take care of itself. Defense will come around and handle business. Book it

Ohio State could easily lose to Penn State or Michigan.

Not easily, maybe a 10% chance either beats OSU

Double that percentage for both teams.

Also, according to ESPN's FPI, Ohio State only has a 65.5% chance of entering the Big Ten title game undefeated.

Do you remember 2011 WITH the computer?

When LSU made it to the NC in 2003, is when the media started this whole eye test thing. They were mad that LSU got in, and surprisingly not mad about the OU team, and demanded that the SOS and Quality Win component be removed.

That 2011 rematch happened precisely because of the voters in the polls. We won the "every game is a playoff" matchup, so they already knew who the better team was. But to prove their self importance, voters (accounting for 2/3 of the BCS) decided to use eye test again.

When the playoff committee was created instead of using the BCS formula, they removed all objectivity in favor of 100% subjectivity. Now, eye test is all that matters. If Bama gets in this year, they might as well start crowning the top 4 as whoever has the best recruiting classes because that's what the eye test really comes down to.

Personally, I prefer the original BCS formula with SOS and the quality won component for deciding the rankings.

curious as to why you think that.

I'll keep contending that the Cmte made it clear with the last two CFP rankings that the Oregon/Utah winner has the inside track to that #4 spot. Pretty much a guarantee as long as they both get to the PAC 12 championship at 11-1 and LSU wins out.

Just think about Bama sitting at home on championship Saturday while everyone else in contention has to go win a conference championship game against a tough opponent. And, as someone else already said, Bama's resume is weak.

What is it going to take to get rid of this Bama bias! One thing...an Auburn win!

hoping for Auburn to beat UA and make it (3) loses in a row to Tiger teams this year for the gumps.
making Auburn #1 in football in that state.

Just spitballing, but maybe another 30 point loss in the playoffs. I even have a team picked out to give it to them..

I’m not pulling for Auburn ... Ever!

Bring on Bama ...

LSU VS BAMA WILL HAPPEN MARK IT

Reasons:
1. Playoff #1 Team plays Playoff #4 Team

OSU will pass us (We’ll be #2) until we whack a Number 4 Georgia

GIVING LSU 5 TOP 10 WINS FOR FIRST TIME SINCE WWII ALONG WITH A RUNAWAY HEISMAN QB

Oh we will be Number 1 in the final tally !!!

Now we only need Bama to do their part ...

A second Trukking ... 52-13 this time?

Anyone watch that Mack Jones 3-Point second half vs MSU ... impressed?

It’s coming ...

hearing snippets that at end of season, if they win out, OSU will have the best resume.
According to who?
LSU will have beaten two Top-4's and 5 Top-10's.

Bama won't have a better "resume" than a one loss conference champ. The Conference Championship puts a one loss team in a better position than a non conf champ one loss team. Even Bama.

I’ll never understand how a 1-loss team who can’t even win their division can continually get in over a 1-loss conference champ.

Until LSU is that one loss team that didn’t win its division. And then you’ll go into great detail explaining it.
