I saw these in the store the other day; the real issue is not the line down the back. Sure it's a little odd but it's not the biggest problem with these shirts. The bigger problem with this, and with other recent dri fits I've been seeing, is the LSU insignia on the front. It is huge and looks like it's ironed on. Terrible look in my opinion

I don't love them, but they're not hideous by any stretch of the imagination.

The coaches polo peaked in 08-10... When they incorporated the Eye of the Tiger. They've gotten worse every year since then.

The stripe down the back is borrowed from the Toger Woods shirts. He has them in His personal Nike shirts. He uses it to align his spine straight when putting.
So I guess it's a "Tiger" stripe.
