I think that's a better thing to hope for. After all, hope is a good thing...maybe the best of things.

Kinda like all the Jayden doubters all off-season when I posted all summer and training camp that he had the inside track to start at QB.

I was ridiculed repeatedly, and look what happened. I didn't base this one bit on talent or performance,(although Brennan never seemed like he cared enough to me), because I'm not qualified nor was I given the chance to evaluate the 4 candidates.

I just knew that JD wasn't going to transfer to place where he was gonna signal in plays from the sideline. That was the secret to me identifying JD as the starter early. Nothing more or less. And then the MAJORITY of posters on here are apoplectic when he's named the starter. You're right when you say "this board".

Here's another spoiler alert that the board will castigate me for and/or not see coming: There is close to ZERO CHANCE Nussmeier will be here by fall camp 2023. And he might very well be gone before spring practice. There is ZERO CHANCE Nussmeier AND Howard will both be here by fall camp 2023.

Every time I think I'm having a bad day, I come to this board and realize just how many people are more miserable than I am.
