Like borderline defamation .... wouldn't the true story of this being nation wide be a bigger story? Why try to destroy a school?

One day the NCAA / Conferences will go away, and the media deals offered will be all that matters as schools broker their own rights. Good luck competing with Amazon and Netflix while spewing click bait outrage lol.

Tigers going to roll yall

Yep. I was just watching ESPN game day and Booger said,” Indiana could get a few players added to their roster if the players won their appeals.
That’s odd, I thought it was only LSU benefiting from the ruling.

Was thinking this yesterday. I live on the west coast and all my clients want to know, " why is LSU doing this and ruining college football!?". The populace has been completely manipulated on this covid style

It is a total misrepresentation on how they are framing this whole "NFL PLAYER" deal....LSU and Kiffin had nothing to do with this development...

Watched McAfee and Herbstreit mock Landry, LSU and the NFL players deal!!!! It went beyond comedic sports talk, IMO

Media wants CLK to fail so bad, they can taste it!

It’s amazing how misinformed the average college football fan is on this. They just read the headline and run with the Kiffin is the devil narrative.

Since the YouTube / podcast explosion. I NEVER watch ESPN anymore.

Anyone who was remotely likable from back in the day is gone. Except SVP. But I don't even watch him lol.

NYC and Los Angeles account for nearly 12% of the entire media market in the US.

Once you understand that, everything else makes sense.

ETA: this goes beyond LSU Football.

It’s been this way for a long time. The good thing is that we have a coach who doesn’t give a frick about the media narrative and will lean into it.
