Mostly every talking head has JD5 atop of their Heisman list at this point. Odds have him as the second favorite for the trophy as of today. He made a huge jump in odds this weekend with his record setting performance.

Currently on DraftKings:

Bo Nix +110
Jayden Daniels +320
Michael Penix +380
Marvin Harrison +475

Odds imply this is a four horse race as the fifth favorite is Carson Beck at a whopping +4000.

JD5 has a real shot of giving us our second Heisman in four years (hint hint Bryce Underwood, you’re next).

What a fkn pleasure to watch this dude in a tiger uniform man.

Odds and the different books are all over the place. JD wasn't even on the board on FanDuel after the Bama game (Granted, FanDuel has the worst lines of the big gambling apps).

Funny. There was just a thread yesterday about how the media doesn’t want him to win.

Hopefully and they should Penix and Nix steal votes from the west against each other. Sucks Daniel's last game is at 11 am though

Actually, what is currently happening is that the odds closing in is directly reflective of the media singing Jayden’s praises. Even after the UF game, JD was still #4 on Sunday. However 1 day later after every media outlet had the chance to see what he did, they are now piggy backing on what we’ve known for a while…

That JD is the best player in the country, and he has been superman on a team with a Defense that may be the worst SEC defense in recent memory.

None of those candidates are like JD.

That’s because the betting odds reflect the fact that Bo and Penix will have better opportunity to put their stamp on things in bigger games rest of season

While Jayden would very likely win if the season ended tomorrow, that’s not the reality.

Just gotta let it play out. I’m thinking Kelly and company are gonna do everything in their power to get Jayden his stats the last two games…

Before UF game media barely even mentioned Jayden as a Heisman leader, I rarely even saw him in top 6 lists. They all had Michigan QB in their top list for some insane reason, feel like they don't even watch CFB.

The ridiculous TD runs Daniels had against Florida should seal it.

It is gonna be hard for Jayden to lock it up against Georgia State and A&M. Nix has Arizona State, #12 Oregon State and #5 Washington (barring something weird). This thing is really far from over, but JD’s best work is already in the can.

If Bo “I can barely throw a forward pass against decent competition” Nix wins the Heisman then it’s a completely useless trophy now.

He wasn’t on DK either because no one knew how long he’d be out. He got taken down and then added back once he cleared protocol and would play.

Needs to go for 500+ passing and 250+ rushing against GAST - lock this thing up.

If he lights it up it shouldn't matter. He'll be on the highlights the rest of the day

Agree. Daniels would win it, if the season had ended last Saturday. Penix and Nix playing in the Championship game, while Jayden sits at home, is the problem for Daniels' chances. I think Oregon is like a 5-7 point favorite to win that game, thus the lower line for Nix. It very well could be his to lose.
