Well since ABC's sporting programs are broadcast under the brand of "ESPN on ABC" these days, he isn't completely wrong.

The rest of his post if dumb though.

I couldnt make it through halfway through this thread without having to state this.....WE DONT HAVE A DAMN CHOICE...I mean what the hell is wrong with you people? WE DONT HAVE A CHOICE CBS pays a hell of a lot of money to broadcast the best SEC game and guess what. Thats us. Every damn week. 4 games in a row. We are part of a conferance that receives a shite load of money to broadcast one....think about that....one college game a week and they will have chosen us 4/4 games. Its AN HONOR! Also to the guys saying "why doesnt CBS do more primetime games?"...you dont think a major national broadcast network has thought of that? You dont think a network that researches the hell out of where to put CSI: Topeka Kansas to get the target demographic in the highest numbers knows how to get the most viewers? They aint doin this because they played right guard in junior high. They are doing this to make money and sell ads. If they think they will have the most people watching our game at 230 then I trust them.

Last thing: We dont have a choice. Slive would laugh in Alevas face if Aleva brought up that we wanted in the contract to have x amount of night games. We are a major bargaining chip for tv negotiation money. Our university needs that money.

i started to type a response to this, but your analogy was so ridiculous and stupid, the parallels so far, and the point so far off. I'd rather you just know wonder how stupid it was for the length of eternity rather than explain it to you.

You realize, earlier in the thread, YOU compared taking away night games and going to all day games on CBS to ending slavery, don't you?

no, there is no rebuttal. ABC can't host 13 SEC teams AND all the other conferences that it hosts.

The SEC is on CBS. and unless someone is going to pay more (they aren't), we deal with it.

This impacts our recruiting, also. Frick CBS and frick Slive. SEC office, refs, and any negotiating on LSU's behalf needs to be removed from Birmingham. This is CRAP!!!!

The petitions and anti-CBS campaigns are evidence that a good chunk of the LSU fanbase just do not know how to "act like you've been there".

They want to be a premiere program, but they don't want the baggage that comes with it.

YA, when i did so, it was in regards to TRADITION versus CHANGE.

then that poster tried to say that TRADITION that needed changing akin to slavery was fighting the MAN (CBS) to protect the rights of the fans (Slaves).

don't argue with me here YA. you know you're above the karma line. Stay there.

Impacts our recruiting positively.
More recruits see the game. More recruits will know they will play on national TV.

the day game didn't seem to have an impact on Vidal Alexander

evidence that a good portion of the LSU fanbase is 100% retarded and are so narrow minded, it's painful to read their comments on these dumb facebook pages.

Just reached out to a friend at CBS who works in NYC to find his take.

His take:

"Are you fricking for real?"

Spare me. 90% of these highschool recruits are at the movies or at the mall on saturday night trying to get some tail. However at 2:30 they are sitting on the couch watching football texting their friends to figure out what they are doing that night
